❗️MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT❗️ Singles Match: #BuzzsawSamuels vs @K_Shibata2022 In April 2023, Buzzsaw Samuels collapsed backstage after a match in San Antonio and was rushed to the hospital. He then underwent emergency surgery to remove a tumor from his brain essentially ending his wrestling career at the time. Through hard work and the miracles of modern medicine, Buzzsaw was able to come back at our 6-Year Anniversary Event in late 2024 and has been a staple of our roster ever since! He squares off against Japanese Legend and AEW Star Katsuyori Shibata who also went through a career threatening brain injury and emergency surgery in 2017 but also has been able to make a return to Pro Wrestling in an incredible way! Through the help of the great people at AEW, Buzzsaw gets his dream match against Katsuyori Shibata at our 8-Year Anniversary Celebration in the biggest match of his career and a marquee match for the ages here at New Texas. Buzzsaw wrestled on our very first show in October of 2018 (wrestling as Connor Crunk), in a fatal four way back in Colorado City!
