Over 200,000 Florida republicans voted for a guy who raped his toddler grandson. But please continue to lecture about how democrats can’t be Christians

Alex Pretti’s mama posted this today. 💔
Mrs. Pretti, we have not forgotten.
To the families of Renee Good, Juan Sebastian Guerrero (killed right here in Biddeford), Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, and everyone else murdered and harmed by ICE……
it’s time for accountability.

Art Carney was born 108 years ago today.
Best remembered as Ed Norton, Jackie Gleason’s sidekick on The Honeymooners, Carney was one of television’s great comic actors, winning six Emmys over his career. His success extended to film. In 1975, he won the Best Actor Oscar for Harry and Tonto.
But Carney once described the piano as his “first love.”
During a 1973 appearance on The Tonight Show, he showed off his talents alongside two fellow comedy legends with musical backgrounds of their own. Johnny Carson had a lifelong passion for the drums, while Sid Caesar had once aspired to be a professional saxophonist.
Here they are playing “My Blue Heaven,” with Carney on piano, Carson on drums and Caesar on sax.

The first two bills I will be filing this session are both by members who have ascended to higher callings.
Jon Rosenthal’s bill banning the practice of child marriage in Texas and James Talarico’s bill that would grant pregnant women the right to a divorce - because right now they cannot legally get divorced while pregnant, even if they are the victim of domestic violence.

One of the funniest things I’ve ever seen on a House campaign.
Brandon Herrera is an awful person but boy oh boy did he and his terrible friend manage to lose in the most entertaining way imaginable

People putting “I Voted” stickers on Alex Pretti’s memorial is exactly the kind of tribute that matters. Not thoughts and prayers. Action.

During his career, Chad Curtis cultivated a reputation as a devout Christian family man and beacon of morality in the clubhouse; he preached constantly but wouldn't swear, and teammates knew that he was likely going to turn off the clubhouse stereo if they played any "unsavory" music.
Teammate Gabe Kapler wrote a @FOXSports essay about just how fooled he was by Curtis's facade after Curtis was convicted of 6 counts of criminal sexual conduct against students at the high school where he volunteered.
Not enough people talk about Chad Curtis
• .264/.349/.396 (.745 OPS), 95 OPS+
• 14.0 WAR, 1061 H, 101 HR, 212 SB
• 2x WS Champ w/ NYY (1998-99)
• Stole 40+ bases twice, 20+ 5x
• Walk-off homer in '99 WS G3
• (10th inning off Remlinger!!)
• Self-appointed morality cop
• Displayed overt religious piety
• Outspoken about family values
• Lectured people on being ethical
• Portrayed a man of high character
• Convicted of sexual misconduct x6
• (All counts against high school girls)
• Served 7 years in prison for his crimes
• During the years of his career (1992-2001), Curtis was 1 of 10 players in MLB with 100+ HR and 200+ SB, and had the third-fewest strikeouts among that group.

We have heard for years about Sandra Bullock being the sweetest person, with none of the phony Hollywood BS arrogance or attitude. This is so cute!
