Mone Chiba 🇯🇵 I had fewer competitions leading up to my Grand Prix event than usual, so I felt more anxious than usual. But I tried to focus on what I needed to do, why I was competing, and what kind of performance I wanted to deliver. I tried to stay focused on those things, so it’s really frustrating that I ended up making a mistake on my jump. In the free skate, I want to make sure I give 100% on every jump and really go all out. Since the end of last season, I’ve wanted to try a strong, cool, slightly dark short program. That’s how I came up with the idea of using James Bond music. I thought portraying the mature and sexy side of a Bond girl would help me expand my range of expression.I’m really enjoying performing this program, and I feel like I’m discovering new ways to express myself. It’s something I want to keep exploring. #GPFigure #FigureSkating #COC
