This summer, we held our first library hearing health education program at the Coatesville Area Public Library! (coatesvillelibrary.org/) It was great teaching the kids on how to protect their hearing, through fun interactive activities and games.

I am working on legislation to ensure PA students receive grade-level appropriate instruction about the importance of hearing health, to provide funding for teacher certification programs for American Sign Language (ASL), and to offer ASL instruction to K-12 students.
On 10/19, we had the honor to meet Senator Comitta at the PA Capitol and watch as the first-ever PA Senate Resolution to recognize Natl' Protect Your Hearing Month was announced.
