Rep. Maria Salazar just cut an ad telling President Trump his deportations have “gone too far” because half the people ICE picked up in July had “no criminal record.”
Illegal presence is the crime.
We didn’t vote for a menu. We didn’t vote for “only the worst of the worst, and everyone else gets a dignified path.” We voted for mass deportations. All of them.
You don’t get to pick and choose which laws to enforce based on who picks jalapeños or who might vote in Miami-Dade. If you’re here illegally, you go home. Period.
Salazar can call it “dignity.” The rest of us call it amnesty with extra steps. President Trump and DHS are right: no amnesty. Not now, not ever.

CNN, MS NOW, and Politico just announced they’re suing because they lost White House access. That’s not a First Amendment case. Access to the building is a privilege. It was never a right.
The First Amendment stops the government from shutting a newsroom down. It does not force the president to hand you a pass, a pool camera, and a briefing-room chair. You can print whatever you want. You don’t get to do it from his lawn.
President Trump barred them Friday. On Saturday their reporters got turned away and their badges were taken. They can still write. They can still go on air. They just don’t get a desk inside the people’s house after years of using that house to sell fiction as news.
They can file in D.C. this morning. A judge can hear them. That still doesn’t turn a press badge into a constitutional right. Report from the sidewalk. That’s still a free press. A White House pass is not promised by the First Amendment.

Congresswoman Priya Jayapal has been relieved of her spot on the House Ways and Means Committee after Speaker Mike Johnson's office announced that she has been using the committee to illegally lobby funds for Democrats.
"Representative Jayapal regularly moves to shift taxpayer money from the private sector to companies owned by Democrats engaging in socialist practices," read a statement from Johnson. "Her continued presence on the committee is an affront to the people who elected her."
