Back to work!
🔥9️⃣7️⃣ from the big man…
Enmanuel Acevedo (@EnmanuelAcevedo) showed some major arm strength @ACBaseballGames. Nothing he threw was straight. Scattered control and fluctuating velocity, but there’s a ton to be excited about. He’s going to throw really hard.

For as long as I can remember, baseball has been a part of my life, a game introduced to me by my father at just 4 years old. Today marks a special turning point in my life. I am proud and excited to announce my commitment to Hofstra University, where I will continue my academic and athletic career at the Division I level. I would like to thank God for being my guide throughout this journey. Go Pride!!! 💙💛🦁

Beyond blessed to announce that I’m officially committed to West Virginia University! 💛💙 I want to thank the entire coaching staff for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. I’m excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to get to work. Let’s go Mountaineers!

Deliberate mechanics with a tall and fall delivery. FB jumps out of the hand and is effective up in zone w/ 20”+ IVB.

#LSU commit Ricky Lopez (‘27 NJ) catches one out front for a 2-run homer to LF. Athlete in the box with good ability to create leverage through impact #NESelectChamp @PG_Scouting

#SetonHall commit Aaron Rodriguez (‘27 NY) punches out 7 over 5 innings of 2 run ball. High ¾ LH slot with a FB in the low to mid 80s (T86) that has late carry. He works two breakers off of it as well #NESelectChamp @PG_Scouting

Physical and powerful.
Manny Acevedo (@EnmanuelAcevedo) is a presence on the mound. After an adjustment, he punched out the side emphatically during his first inning.
Heater can overpower, slider flashed and also displayed sharp cutter and firm change.

‘28 Branden Rosario (NY) had a monster day at the plate; finished 5-for-5 w/ a homer & 7 RBI across two games. Creates clean separation & remains short to the point of contact. Lots of consistency in the barrel.

What’s some baseball stuff that coaches just want to get off their chest? The state of amateur baseball is interesting right now. So, I’m interested to hear people’s thoughts.
