📖 Our Reply on GLUCO-TAVI is out in EuroIntervention's 300th edition 🔥
Grateful that a small pilot trial keeps generating discussion. Vlachakis, Drakopoulou and Toutouzas raised thoughtful mechanistic and safety questions, and it was a privilege to respond alongside their Letter in the same issue.
Our message stays the same: glucocorticoids around TAVI appear feasible and safe, but the reduction in pacemaker implantation was not significant. An adequately powered RCT is needed.
