Recovering from trips but news is my photobook goes to print this week!!!
Sent in my final_edit_final_v10_really_final text corrections, to then ofc find out that we used the wrong dates on some of the index! Hopefully no one notices... So nervous, hope it all goes well! 🙈
Finished a piece I started one year ago.
Do you ever try something you rarely do, or draw something outside your usual comfort zone?
I set this piece aside a year ago because the lighting called for a different approach from my previous work. I’d painted darker scenes before, but this time, the character wasn’t the sole focus—the overall atmosphere mattered more. Back then, I couldn’t quite figure out what to emphasize and what to let go of to make the painting feel right.
When I revisited it one year later, I suddenly felt that spark again.
I finally knew how to finish her.
Let's go, girls.
I've been putting together my OCs that I've worked on for many years, and I finally made new progress on the world-building recently. This is the class at the Elementalist Academy that the three main characters of the story join.
