Traffitech has nothing to do with road safety and everything to do with extorting citizens. It’s a revenue generation scheme. Nothing else.

They’re fixing more traffic tech cameras faster than actual traffic lights.

i won't say i'm losing sleep over this Traffitech thing but i've sure been giving it a lot of thought and there's something fundamentally unfair about it.

You see where they’re installing TraffiTech cameras in the name of road safety, That road hasn’t had proper lane markings for over 20 years to guide drivers or prevent them from crossing into each other’s lanes. There are no traffic lights at that intersection either. Yet someone with just 100MB of data left will come and tell you it’s all about saving lives.
Authorities have begun visiting various locations across Osu to repair and restore faulty surveillance cameras and Traffitech systems as part of efforts to improve road monitoring, strengthen traffic law enforcement and enhance public safety. [🎥: Osu Official TV]

Snoop Dogg explained in 80 seconds why men stopped approaching women. Do men not shoot their shot anymore because social media turned dating into a simulation? Snoop says yes, and his reason is better than the usual “phones ruined everything” take. In his era, getting with someone took real effort. You had to look at her, talk to her, get her to like you, and know her parents and how she moved. You had to get involved before you could get involved. Now it’s a couple of pictures and a couple of lines, and people expect something real from a few typed words. The part I found most interesting is his point about texting. A text gives you what he’s typing, not what he’s saying. “You look good today” can read as sweet or creepy depending on the mood of the person reading it. Text has no tone, face or feeling to go with it. Approaching someone in person is hard on purpose. It makes you learn to read people, handle a no, and become someone worth talking to. When you skip that, you also skip what it would have taught you. What he calls the cheat code ended up costing men the skill.

We need to have more of this conversation. Everybody needs to wake up. Your standard is not high because rich men do.things for you. If ypu can't do it for yourself, you don't have the standard. You are not poor because your man is poor. You are poor because you don't have money. You're not managing a broke boyfriend when you are broker than he is. He is your best option. Your papa no guide either.
You’re broke as a girl, but instead of you to get yourself something to do and get funds for yourself, you’re busy broke shaming him, and feeling you’re with a wrong nigga, then blame him for your own brokenness, is that not stooooopidity??

Our parents may not have known much about psychology, gentle parenting or childhood trauma, but they knew how to raise children. Today's parents know all the terminology but seem to have forgotten the actual job.

Many Ghanaians have never seen a leader with a genuine commitment to development. Look at what Ibrahim Traoré is doing in Burkina Faso. Their economy grew by 5.3% in 2025. Just look at the local development projects his government has undertaken in only 4 years, 1 month, and 6 days, and compare that with what the NPP and NDC have achieved in Ghana over 34 years. Just do a little research into what’s happening in Burkina Faso.

Do you realize how unconstitutional this sounds? Yes, watch people defend this too. They’re running a country like it’s some junior high school.
“If you call the Traffitech call centre after receiving a ticket to dispute the violation, and investigations establish that you indeed breached road traffic regulations, you will receive an additional fine.” — Chief Inspector Frempong Ayeh cautions motorists against falsely disputing traffic violations, warning that an additional fine will be imposed if investigations confirm the offence.

not sure any well meaning Ghanaian is against the “traffitech”. the ask is simple, if there was that much will to deploy cameras across the country, why does fixing broken traffic lights and streetlights have to be so difficult? katanomics?
They put a camera on the airport bypass road but the streetlights aren’t working smh.

Ah yes, pay 25-35% of your salary as tax, pay extra 15-30% tax on goods and services, pay annual property tax, Netflix tax, import tax, taxes on water and electric bills... Effectively 60+% of your salary goes to the govt to misuse. Then use the rest to build your own roads
LIVE | Intercity Big Push Initiative: Why don’t we allow people to construct roads in their own neighbourhoods instead of waiting for the government to do everything? – Local Government Minister, Mahama Ayariga.

Replying to @The1957News
You people agreeing with him sorry Buh you are very slow tbh, these government people are being elected, cars, v8, salary, very outraged allowances all just so they can fix the country and then for him to come and say that the people that elected them should fix the roads,
