Dashcam captures a crash involving a Peel police cruiser in #PortCredit. 🚔
The driver who filmed it says the officer was calm and didn’t try to blame them. “He mentioned he thought he had his blinker on initially, but didn’t press further,” they said.
The footage helped prove they weren’t at fault, and got them a free rental.

A Halton police officer is facing a criminal charge after a chase ended with a stolen Hummer slamming into a tractor-trailer in Mississauga.
The SIU says Sgt. David Joseph led the pursuit from Oakville into Mississauga in March 2025. It ended in a crash at Winston Churchill Blvd and Lakeshore Rd that left the 26-year-old Hummer driver seriously hurt.
Joseph is charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm. The charge has not been proven in court.

Air India officially launches nonstop flights between Mississauga, Ontario, and Mumbai, India.
It is be Air India’s second route from Pearson Airport, operated on a Boeing 777-300ER. The route connects Canada’s largest airport with India’s financial capital and "serves the largest diaspora corridor between India and Canada".
