Violent psychopaths are ravaging the Black community. A man gets into an argument with a woman, children are standing all around, and he shoots her dead in front of everyone. Then there’s the guy casually walking away, uploading the video to Facebook as though nothing happened. Nobody intervenes. Nobody seems willing to call the police or do anything to stop it. The community is deeply broken. I genuinely struggle to believe this generation, or the next, can turn things around. Gang culture, rampant theft, relentless assaults, and violent sociopaths operating openly on every street have become so normalized that even murder can be met with chilling indifference. When people can kill so casually, film it, and carry on with their lives, it points to a level of social decay that cannot be dismissed as a passing problem. At this point, I fear the rot runs too deep for ordinary reform to reverse. Something fundamental has to change.
