I think the people making money off of elections make sure the polls are close so they can squeeze every last dime out of the donors. Then they take that $ and spend it on tv- which is basically lighting it on fire because tv ads don’t change the outcome of elections in the last 90 days. @elonmusk, this isn't just opinion. 30 years of randomized controlled trials back it up. See Get Out the Vote by Donald Green & Alan Gerber (5th ed.), pp. 172–173. @tylerbowyer @Maloney

If I’m wrong, I’ll eat my words, but I don’t think I am and I want to note this: I think that the polls are wrong again. I don’t think that they’re off by a 2016 margin (or 2020), but they don’t have to be. I think election night will look a lot like 2022, just in reverse. As I look around the country, I just don’t believe that Ashley Moody only leads Angie Nixon by 6. I don’t believe that Cindy Hyde-Smith only leads Colom by 4. I don’t believe Kansas is a dead heat, nor do I believe Indiana is, nor do I believe Iowa is (or Minnesota, for that matter). I think that on election night we’re going to see Max Engling win by 4-6 in Indiana, I think we’ll see Ashley Hinson win in Iowa (and maybe Zach Lahn too), I think we see Paxton walk away in Texas by a few points, and that we see Moody blow it out in Florida. I’d even give Husted and Ramaswamy the edge in Ohio, and probably bet on Rogers right now in Michigan. The polls don’t have to be that wrong for us to have a solid election night, we just need a few close ones to go our way.

🚨 JUST IN: QatarEnergy just locked in a 20 YEAR deal for up to 3 million tonnes per year of U.S. LNG from Woodside’s Louisiana project near Lake Charles. This makes them the largest buyer of American LNG, right after their Cheniere deal. Gulf producers are turning to U.S. supply while Hormuz stays disrupted. Gas will be super cheap soon as long we keep Dems out.
