Write: log decisions, corrections, verified facts and failed approaches to an append-only inbox. 3. Provenance: tag every memory with its source, date and scope so you can audit it later. 4. Consolidate: merge duplicates, resolve conflicts, expire stale notes. Ten episodes become one rule. 5. Recall: pull only what's relevant to the task. Plain file search goes a long way. 6. OpenAI’s next generation AI agents are reportedly taking on one of mathematics’ biggest unsolved challenges: the Navier Stokes Millennium Problem. The agents allegedly produced an analytical proof addressing the behavior of 3D fluid flows, along with a formal verification in Lean. The proposed solution describes a spiraling vortex with finite energy and builds on earlier work involving the Euler equations. But the reported breakthrough is already surrounded by controversy. Mathematicians Tristan Buckmaster and Levent Alpöge have accused OpenAI of drawing from their year long AI assisted research on related fluid equations. They raised concerns around the timing of the work, private communications, and access to research data. OpenAI denies the allegations, saying the proof was developed independently and is distinct from the researchers’ work.
