Before the general elections in January 2027, INEC must subject itself to an independent forensic audit of its database.
INEC claims to have about 103m registered voters.
Let independent experts audit them and certify the eligible voters and report to all political parties and eligible voters.
It should be transparent.
The INEC cannot claim to have integrity, credibility and is willing to conduct a free, fair and credible election until this is done.
There is still time.
And INEC must secure the services of any of the big 4 accounting firms to carry out this investigation.
I'll vote, but I do not trust that my vote will count.
If they want to restore public confidence, they must do this.
End.

A Referendum for Peace: The Democratic Path to Ending Nigeria’s Cycle of Pogroms and Bloodshed
It is with a heavy heart and an unwavering conviction that I say that: Nigeria must confront the national question honestly, or continue to pay an intolerable price in human lives.
For decades, our country has witnessed recurring episodes of ethnic and religious violence, mass displacement, insecurity and the destruction of innocent lives.
From the anti-Igbo pogroms of the 1940s and 1950s, through the horrifying massacres of 1966 and the tragedy of the Nigerian Civil War, to the continuing attacks on vulnerable communities in different parts of our country, the lesson is unmistakable: the wounds of our national history have not been adequately healed.
Today, communities continue to bury their dead, families mourn their loved ones, farmers abandon their ancestral lands, and children grow up amid fear and uncertainty. Whether the victims are Igbo, Christian, Muslim, or members of any other ethnic or religious community, every innocent Nigerian deserves protection, justice and the right to live without fear.
Ladies and gentlemen, our nation was amalgamated in 1914 under British colonial administration. Yet, more than a century later, the question of how the diverse peoples of this geographical entity can coexist in justice, equality and mutual consent remains unresolved.
The central argument of the document before us is that Nigeria's recurring insecurity cannot be addressed by military operations alone. We must confront the deeper questions of political exclusion, constitutional legitimacy, unequal citizenship, resource control, accountability and the right of communities to determine their political future.
We must also insist that allegations of religious persecution, ethnic domination and official complicity be investigated impartially. No individual, institution or government should be above the law. Equally, no ethnic nationality or religious community should be collectively blamed for the crimes of particular individuals or armed groups.
This brings me to the question of a referendum.
I submit that a properly negotiated, peaceful and democratically conducted referendum on Nigeria's political future offers a credible path towards resolving our enduring national crisis.
A referendum is not a declaration of war. It is not a call for the persecution of another people. It is an appeal to the ballot rather than the bullet, dialogue rather than destruction, and the expressed will of the people rather than the perpetuation of an arrangement that many regard as unjust.
Let us be clear: a referendum must not be imposed by force, manipulated by political elites, or used to intimidate minorities. It must emerge from a transparent national dialogue, with agreed constitutional and legal procedures, credible independent oversight, freedom of expression, protection of minorities, and guarantees that every affected community can participate without fear.
The purpose is to make consent the foundation of our political future.
To those who insist that Nigeria must remain indivisible at all costs, I ask: Of what value is unity maintained through fear, grief and recurring bloodshed? True unity is not the absence of a border. It is the presence of justice, mutual respect and a freely renewed commitment to live together.
We must, therefore, pursue two urgent objectives: first, immediate protection for endangered communities, impartial investigations, prosecution of perpetrators, and comprehensive security-sector reform; second, an inclusive national dialogue that establishes a credible constitutional pathway to a referendum if the peoples of Nigeria cannot agree on a just and workable union.
Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, history will judge us not by how fiercely we defended the status quo, but by whether we found the wisdom to prevent another generation from inheriting our conflicts.
Thank you.

I strongly condemn the unjust life imprisonment of ABEL ONYEDIKACHI UGWUOKE, following his 5-year secret and inhuman detention at Wawa barracks for alleged membership of IPOB, not for any act of violence or terror.
Abel was convicted and sentenced despite the mental health challenges he developed from the trauma of his lengthy and inhuman detention.
Abel’s case is another human tragedy that directly results from the misguided and vicious law enforcement tactics that have been directed against the people of Southeast for over a decade.
As lawyers hanker down to battle this menace within the frustrating limits of the judiciary, I urge all men and women of goodwill to continue to publicly speak out against these injustices until the right thing is done.
Stop spreading false information.

This guy got a loan from a loan app 4 years ago and deleted the apps..
He got ₦2,000,000 from the app and deleted it.
They kept sending him a reminder to pay off his loan but he was nonchalant over it..
This year, they tracked him down to his working place and got him arrested..
The ₦2,000,000 incurred an extra ₦9,600,000 under 10 percent interest rate..
So he's to pay them the total amount of ₦11,600,000.
His salary is not even up to ₦1,000,000...
He's been calling all his family members to help him out..
Run away from a loan app
These are the reasons why you should not join Nigerian army.
🫡🤔 This is not news. This is normal.
In jungle warfare, you eat what you can find. You drink what you can get. You sleep where you can. You do not complain. You do not ask for five-star meals. You survive.
Hollywood movies have made some of you think warfare is a bed of roses. You see soldiers in movies with clean uniforms, hot meals, and perfect teeth. You think that is what war looks like. It is not. War is mud. War is hunger. War is drinking dirty water because there is nothing else. War is eating dry bread in the bush while the enemy is watching.
That bread? It might be the only food they have seen in days. That water? It might be the only water within miles. And they are drinking it because the mission does not pause for comfort.
Let me tell you something as a soldier: Every soldier who has served in the bush knows this reality. You eat cold rice. You drink from streams. You sleep in the rain. You wake up with mosquitoes. And you keep moving.
So before you judge, ask yourself: Could you do it? Could you leave your home, your family, your comfort, and eat bread with dirty water in the jungle so that others can sleep in peace?
They are not suffering for nothing. They are suffering for you.
This is the price of peace. And they are paying it. 🫡🇳🇬🪖

If “One Nigeria” advocates would actually invest as much energy in plotting the exit of the Igbo nation from Nigeria as they do in defaming and maligning Igbos, this bitter, acrimonious, bad taste relationship will be over in a minute.
To live with a partner you claim is out to kill you and still refuse to let that partner go, ultimately makes you a clown of no comparisons.
Nigeria will never move one inch forward until Nigeria’s Igbo problem is permanently and conclusively resolved.
Worth saving.
Shut the gutter if you have nothing meaningful to write about. Nitwit!
This is stupidity and madness, and I'm not even surprised. When people choose to be gullible, even a senseless animal will take advantage of them.
How exactly is this the best way to help Obi win? What makes this reasonable to any normal human being? When did we start celebrating cult-like behaviour because we want to rescue the country from APC?
Obi better call these people to order, and I hope the relevant security agencies take this seriously. We want a country, not a war zone!
I have always spoken for good governance and said I prefer Peter Obi, not because I see him as the holiest person, but because I want a change. But this is concerning. Why can't you channel that zeal into passionately campaigning for your candidate instead of displaying such barbaric and dangerous behaviour?
These are young people who should be channelling their energy into something productive. Is someone deliberately trying to ruin Obi's chances by sponsoring this, or are they discampaigning him? Even if that's the case, how did these people fall for it without using their heads?
I hope Peter Obi dissociates himself from this for his own good. Some frustrated individuals may come for me as usual, but I don't care. I said what I said, and I stand by it. This is absurdity. It's madness!

PAUL OKECHUKWU, an Igbo man whose only proven offence was confessing membership of IPOB, has been condemned to 20 years in prison. Paul never killed anyone. He never attacked security forces. The sole count linking him to violence was withdrawn and struck out.
Conversely, Boko Haram fighters who massacred thousands (soldiers, police, and civilians alike) are “rehabilitated,” handed money, vocational training, and reintegrated into the society,
So, for merely associating with a “proscribed” group, Paul received a sentence many actual killers never face. This is not law or justice; it is pure ethnic persecution dressed as counter-terrorism.
When those who slaughtered security agents are rewarded with second chances while a non-violent Igbo is buried in a prison cell for 20 long years, the Nigerian state is deliberately pushing the Igbo further from the federation.
Such a brazen double standard does not preserve unity; it destroys it and fuels the very demand for self-determination the State aims to suppress. It is indeed a double whammy, and a provocation to boot.

Enugu Anti cult just shot Stone who celebrated his birthday two days ago just like that.
Enugu Anti cult is equal to Awkuzu Sars and Owerri Tiger Base. They are all dreaded Police Units that you won’t survive unless you have millions to bail yourself.
As we speak, many young Igbo boys are currently being tortured in their dungeon and slaughter house. When will enough be enough? If we don’t stop them, you will become their next victim.
