ALT Dr. Trivedi’s lab at UTSW has 2 open postdoc positions to conduct research imaging for mood disorders for several ongoing biomarker projects with the goal of translating research to clinical tools for mood disorders. Perform specialized research experiments in human research participants. Must be PhD or MD. Experience with mood disorders is not required. Demonstrate scientific curiosity and desire and ability to work independently. Position One: Strong background in EEG and familiarity with MRI. 2-3 years of experience in EEG research, and be familiar with Matlab, the EEGLAB toolbox, and an understanding of the fundamentals of signal processing (filtering, time-frequency, and independent components analysis). Position Two: Strong background in analyzing MRI, including but not limited to resting and tasked based functional MRI. 2-3 years of experience in MRI research, be familiar with Matlab, R, and SPM, and have familiarity with EEG.
