Thrilled to jointly locals at the official opening of the West Heidelberg Library. An amazing new service for our community. A great partnership with @BanyuleCouncil plus a $200,000 grant from the Carroll Labor Government to get it done. 📚 @yarraplentyread

I recently joined Health Minister @IngridStitt to officially open the free Women’s Health Clinic @Austin_Health - Meanwhile, a re-elected Carroll Labor Govt will invest $370,000 to support a new Austin/Mercy health service to support women with endometriosis - 5,000 extra scans.
Breaking 📣 I attended a meeting between @BanyuleCouncil & @HomesVicGov where a 50 year lease was signed for $1 a year - securing 155-157 Oriel Road - for the West Heidelberg Community Hub. Banyule can now plan to build a new long-term Hub in 3081 on Crown land. A top result! 🙌
I look forward to dusting off the sticks this summer for golf. ⛳️ Strathallan Golf Club always host the RSL on Bell (West Heidelberg) golf day, which is great fun. Pleased to drop in for lunch on the 19th hole with club members & @ColinBrooksMP after the Bayford Classic.
The re-election campaign for Deputy Speaker & Member for Ashwood is officially launched. 🚀 Great to join @mjfregon MP at Mount Waverley Bowling Club with friends last night, including John Berger MP & @JohnMullahyMP.
Amazing new $14mil build at Heidelberg Primary School, almost complete. School captains & the principal, Ms Ivers, were great tour guides. A new gymnasium with change-rooms & a canteen plus four new classrooms & two adjoining STEM classrooms. The Carroll Labor Govt gets it done!
Love a @BanyuleCouncil citizenship ceremony at the historic Heidelberg Town Hall. It’s my 21st year attending these events as the local MP or councillor. Citizenship ceremonies showcase the best of our community. Welcome all.
Labor is securing Victoria’s position as a global powerhouse of medical technology & research. BioNTech, a top biopharmaceutical company, opened a new facility @latrobe which will produce lifesaving treatments for cancer & use cutting edge mRNA technology. With @ColinBrooksMP

I am deeply appalled by this violent attack on Helen Haines.
My thoughts - and the thoughts of all Victorians - are with Helen, her family, her friends, her colleagues and her community.
I know how devastating this will be for the Wangaratta community and all those who Helen represents.
Thank you to police, paramedics, firefighters and witnesses for their immediate response.
An individual has been apprehended and I thank Police for their swift action.
Good to be back with the running group after a couple of ‘OMIs’. Mondays are at Heidelberg…memories of training here at Warringal Park with the U15s for the ‘Bergers. Huge ground. There was an old trotting training track around the outside of the oval back then. 🏃♂️
The new East Ivanhoe Preschool is providing a great education to almost 130 children aged 3 & 4 years. Pleased to open the new buildings thanks to a $3.6mil Labor Govt grant, with Minister for Children Lizzie Blandthorn MP. Thanks @BanyuleCouncil for the teamwork on this project.
Sure to be a full house @MelbRacingClub for the 150th running of the Caulfield Cup. Cracking weather & quality racing. All the best to chairman Cameron Fisher & the team. Great job from @NigelCarmody keeping almost 600 in line at TCOA event yesterday! 🐎
Super night at Meadow Park Soccer Club with Premier @BenCarrollMP to launch the campaign of great mate & Member for Sunbury, Josh Bull MP. A born & raised local, Josh IS Sunbury!
