The most recent video of Tuesday’s LAPD Board of Police Commissioners meeting has an audible sound that sounds like very heavy breathing or snoring.
For years, LAPD’s BOPC has been delaying release of their livestream by a day or two saying they needed to clean up audio.
New photos and words from me at the Ten Four:
Law enforcement agencies allegedly misused crowd-control weapons at least 412 times during immigration enforcement protests across the United States between June 2025 and May 2026.

The humidity and wildfire smoke from Canada are doing absolutely wild things at the Miller Brewery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin right now.
What’s wild about going to the doctor before your 40th birthday is rather than talking about fixing an illness or whatever it’s basically just listing the shit that is most likely to kill you in descending order of odds.
I wasn’t there yesterday in Los Angeles and really try to stay out of things but macing a man who has already been beaten, interfering with medical attention and forcing a man who is defenseless and saying his ankle is broken to crawl away is coward shit.
If anyone is wondering how LAPD transparency is going, its been two weeks since the LAPD Commission voted that officers that shot, killed then tear-gassed a man were in policy. I still have not received the OIG or Chief of Police report which were the main documents used.
According to the LAPD Commission’s comms team “I don’t get them as quickly as I used to. This isn’t the only report I am still waiting for. I have several. I understand it is frustrating to wait.”
The family of this man asked me if I had seen them.
New for Ten Four:
A contentious town hall in Boyle Heights on Thursday ended with numerous residents repeatedly heckling city officials and representatives from Lineage Logistics.

NEW: Yusef Robb, a close but informal advisor to Mayor Karen Bass, has been doing communications consulting work for Lineage, the operator of the Boyle Heights warehouse that burned last month.

In case you’re wondering why the space for the City Attorney here is unsigned, so does LAPD’s OIG.

And here is the MOU signed between Flock and LAPD for a six month term, signed January 23, 2025
Also weird: as of earlier today, the department’s news media relations division still has no comment regarding the use of Flock.
Also, just several weeks ago Chief Jim McDonnell described Flock / ALPRs as a “vital, lawful public safety tool” while concurring stopping *new* ALPRs
Though it was not mentioned within LAPD’s ALPR report by their OIG, also bears mentioning *another* officer in Milwaukee (a member of their internal affairs division) has been charged with a felony for misusing a license plate camera reader system.

Rivera, who told residents of Boyle Heights that he’s upset too because “our building burned down,” made more than 4 million dollars last year / more than 13 million dollars the year before according to SEC filings.
2024 Boyle heights median household income: $59,530

The Lineage Fire representative just said to the Boyle Heights residents affected by the fire and resulting bio waste and smoke “I know you’re upset. We’re upset too. Our building burned down.”
Quick clarification here since character count didn’t fit this:
That’s 4 million in compensation and includes stock value
That’s *household* income and not necessarily per person.
