Instead Tampa Bay stole the ball… FOUR TIMES.
Having reviewed the publicly available police reports, the similarities between the original allegation and those made by other women are hard to ignore.
That doesn’t establish their validity, but I wouldn’t be so quick to assume this is going away, especially with the NFL’s investigation still open.
Packers RB Josh Jacobs is not anticipating missing more time despite additional allegations.

Coaching malpractice, yet our QB is the one getting crucified for it.
Penix deserves his share of the blame, no question. But the mainstream media’s obsession with highlighting his 4 interceptions while completely ignoring the context and coaching failures is driving me f*cking nuts.
You’re mixing up being able to play in those conditions with being able to execute your standard offense. The point isn’t whether football can be played in heavy rain. It’s whether the coaching staff adjusts its game plan accordingly.
Also, Pop Warner and high school games are far more likely to be postponed or rescheduled due to severe weather than NFL games, especially in Tampa. Not that it makes a difference but Penix was from the class of 2018.

I think it is conceivable that rain that didn’t cancel an NFL game in 2026 also wouldn’t have canceled early 2000s Peewee and Pop Warner and 2010s high school football games in the same location, yes.
Bucky and Gainwell balled out.. Bijan didn’t.. why? Because the Bucs didn’t give up on the run and had dialed up 24 run plays in their first 5 drives.
Atlanta had just 12 runs through its first five drives, 50% fewer than Tampa.
In weather like last Sunday, you resort to smashmouth football and playing the field position game for better or for worse. Tampa committed to the run and eventually wore down our defense. Atlanta failed to do the same to theirs.
Giving Bijan 40 carries would’ve worn down that defense. Every carry in those conditions takes a toll on defenders. We gave up on the ground game WAY too early.
I get that Bijan isn’t built like Derrick Henry, but if Bucky and Gainwell could find success on the ground in those conditions, so could Bijan if we had stuck to the script.
Attempting a 53-yard FG and going for it on 4th and 6 instead of punting in a monsoon were horrendous coaching decisions.
For those using this post to take shots at Penix, keep in mind that a windy 40-degree day is much different from playing in a monsoon where neither QB could grip the ball.
Penix threw 4 picks, and that’s on him. No excuses. But not nearly enough blame is being attributed to the horrendous game plan by Atlanta’s coaching staff.
Except the Bengals aren’t the Browns. They’re not going to given their division rival life by sending Flacco to Baltimore.
It’s not rocket science. Damien Harris absolutely nailed this take.
But it’s more entertaining to pile on Penix for throwing 4 picks than to address the boring game management issues. One narrative generates clicks. The other doesn’t.
This is what I want to hear from Mike.
Next week is on you. Beat Burrow and the Bengals and win the fanbase back.
Penix: The conditions were what the conditions were. Both teams played in it. #Falcons

The Falcons went 0-for-12 on third down today, which includes six instances of third-and-2 or shorter.
They were 3-for-6 on fourth downs & gained eight total first downs.
Tell me you didn’t watch the game without telling me you didn’t watch the game. Horrendous take.
The opposing team became the first in over 50 years to win a game without completing a single pass.
The coaching staff absolutely deserves to be held accountable for its game plan and execution.
No excuses for Penix throwing four picks.
But this coaching staff desperately needs a lesson from Bill Belichick in situational football. From start to finish, they completely mismanaged this game.
On the opening drive, facing a critical 4th-and-short, they could have punted and play the field position battle, or trust the OL and Bijan to pick up the first down.
Instead, they attempt a 53-yard field goal with a 41-year-old kicker in the pouring rain.
That drive set the tone for the rest of the game. One QB threw 19 times in a monsoon, and another only threw 3 times and their coaching staff wisely let their RBs do the heavy lifting.
This should’ve been a 30+ carry game for Bijan. Instead it turned into a nightmare game for Penix’s homecoming game in Tampa.
Are we not watching the same game? The other QB hasn’t completed a pass yet. At least their coaching staff is competent enough to recognize the situation.
Since Week 3, Drake London ranks 2nd in the NFL in yards per route run against Cover 3 (4.79).
Tampa Bay runs Cover 3 at the league’s second-highest rate (48.9%), though that dropped to 31.6% last week while protecting a big lead against Carolina. The league average is 32.4%.
If Tampa Bay sticks to its usual defensive tendencies and weather isn’t a major factor, London could be in line for a big game.
