New @FBI data shows anti-Jewish hate crimes in the U.S. remained at alarming levels in 2025, accounting for nearly two-thirds of all reported religion-based hate crimes and marking the third-highest year on record.
Behind every one of these numbers is a person targeted simply for being Jewish. And in 2025, that hate turned deadly, here at home and around the world.
The reality is clear: antisemitism remains one of the most persistent forms of hate in this country and beyond. adl.org/resources/press-rele…
1/ DSA co-chair Megan Romer just gave a jaw dropping interview to @NewYorker's David Remnick. What she said and doubled down on in this interview should concern every American. Because this kind of hateful and demonizing rhetoric against the only Jewish state in the world goes well beyond criticism of a government or its policies, and it puts every Jewish American at risk. We've seen this far too often.🧵
NEW: ADL just launched When Antisemitism Comes to Class – a new initiative examining how antisemitism can emerge in classroom settings and providing tools to help universities respond while protecting academic freedom.
Universities should be places where every student can learn, question and participate without the the fear of being targeted or excluded.

Thank you, @BoyGeorge, for being an incredible ally to the Jewish people. At a time when so many have chosen silence or misinformation, your willingness to speak out against antisemitism and stand with the Jewish community and the Jewish state has meant so much.
When the mayor of the largest city in America speaks, people listen.
Mayor Mamdani has used his platform to call an organization that supports a Jewish state "monsters" wielding "dark money." He equivocates and hesitates when Hamas and Hezbollah flags are waved outside synagogues.
As Jews across the U.S. live in fear of violence, urge Mayor Mamdani to stop fueling antisemitism: action.adl.org/a/mamdani-rhe…
Arizona just became the latest state to enact a new law to help provide safe access to houses of worship. Thank you to @GovernorHobbs for signing HB4117 and to all who helped us advocate for this vital legislation. Faith communities deserve to worship without fear, intimidation or obstruction.
As we celebrate #America250, let us honor the country America has been at its best: a haven for conscience, a home for religious minorities and a nation where Jews and so many others have helped turn liberty into lived reality. And let us continue to strive to secure fair and just treatment to all. 🇺🇸
Happy Independence Day from ADL!
