A job well done.
Was an honour and pleasure to share a studio with Andrew for a spell over the last year.
Sure he will be a success with whatever comes next.
So that's it.
After nearly 10 years at @ChronicleLive, hosting and editing The Everything is Black and White Podcast, I've recorded my final show.
More than 2,000 episodes, trips to Dortmund and, of course, that Wembley final. It's been an absolute privilege to cover Newcastle United.
My aim was simple: to cover the club with insight and opinion but, more than anything, to make it accessible for fans, whether they're here on Tyneside or across the globe.
Tens of millions of views and downloads later, I'd say I did that â and enjoyed every single second of it.
It's fitting that my final episode is with John Gibson â a true legend of North East journalism. In typical style, Newcastle couldn't send me off into the sunset with a win!

It's going to be a bit of a shock not to wake up on Monday, head into the office and talk all things Newcastle United, but the time is right for a change! And I'm looking forward to a new challenge.
If anyone needs an award-winning podcast host and producer â or a social media expert or content creator â let me know!
Also, stick with @ChronicleLive. It's a newsroom full of fantastic journalists who do their very best to showcase everything good about this region, and hold those in power to account.
Match Verdict as #nufc lose to Everton in the cup.
Questions again asked about how open #nufc were but was is it a case of missed opportunities, and mistakes rather than a tactical issue?

Tonight was already the priority for me, and following the draw, going all in with XI is a must.
I wouldnât make a change!

If we beat Everton tomorrow night, we will play Fleetwood away in the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup
Ties will be played week commencing 14th December #NUFC
I never understand this - especially when youâre a game away from the last 8, that a team sees the competition as a game âthey could do without.â
đ´âŞď¸ Sunderland welcome Brentford to the Stadium of Light in the Carabao Cup, a competition they could possibly do without. đ¤
đ Opponents Brentford are not in Europe and may see tonight as an opportunity. đŽ

For one last time, @SamMulliner returns to the podcast as we discuss the start to the season for #NUFC, who they could buy in January, and why Eddie Howe deserves much better than #MUFC!
Five changes seems a lot.
I'd not be making any, perhaps Elanga in for Murphy but certainly not five.
You need to build that momentum. You need to start building those relationships across the field - five changes arguably disrupts that.
Matthias Jaissle has promised a strong line up against Everton tomorrow but could we still see some changes? Could Steur start? Does Thiaw come into the side?
Let us know your Starting XI

THE MATCH PREVIEW - Everton!
- Why the cup SHOULD be a priority
- Why there wonât be many changes
- The tactical worry
- Can The League Cup become The FA Cup of the 50s?

There has to be an acceptance from Manchester United fans - your club is no longer the force it once was.
Yes, it's one of the biggest clubs in the world but when it comes to the football - you're not title challengers, and won't be consistently for a very long time to come.
The sooner this is accepted - and managers are given time, and by time, I mean real time. Not months but a couple of years to implement a real style & then you will see progress.
This consistent sacking of managers, and immediate pressure on the new one, simple isn't working.
The comments to this.
If the job is offered to Eddie Howe, I hope he turns it down.
Deserves much better than the disrespect thrown his way by a very entitled fanbase.
*Takes a deep breath and ducks for cover*
