Apparently, I'm supposed to be angry at Hollywood because they didn't "let me see myself" onscreen for 100 years.
Well I can't be angry about that - because they did represent me.
When Superman caught Lois in 1978, that was me.
When Indiana Jones fought the Nazis for the Ark, that was me.
When Luke Skywalker destroyed the Death Star, that was me.
When James Bond saved the world 20 times (before Daniel Craig), that was me.
When John McClane defeated Hans Gruber, that was me.
When Spider-Man stopped the runaway train, that was me.
When Neo stopped the bullets and defeated Agent Smith, that was me.
When The Terminator said "Come with me if you eant to live," that was me.
And when Ripley said, "Get away from her, you bitch!" - that was me too.
Because I'm NOT the color of my skin.
I'm the content of my character.
And my character is heroic, honorable, courageous, determined, and willing to fight against impossible odds.
That's who I USED to see on the screen.
Hollywood won't give us that anymore.
For that, I am angry.
WEAPONS (2025): 👎 Ugly, abrasive, pretentious, and self-indulgent to the extreme. Unlikable characters, clichéd technique, and gimmicky storytelling served up as some sort of profound allegory. Even a memorable performance by the always great Amy Madigan can't save it.

Although I'm sure there are many reasons behind this problem, an obvious one is Netflix being a staunch ideologue that has partially lost the trust of its audience.
Netflix's top shows have been losing 30-70% of their audience between seasons 1 and 2. Executives are trying to figure out why.

Can you please share for Willie, he’s based in Scotland and looking for a loving home, his previous owners decided after 8 years they didn’t want him anymore. He’s being cared for just now.
Willie is a beautiful 8 year old male cat. He is looking for a loving home with someone who can give him belly rubs and plenty of attention.
He likes to get outside and explore.
Willie is use to kids from 12 years upwards and doesn't mind being petted and picked up.
He has been around other cats before and he was fine with them but some of the other cats didn't like him. No dogs.
Willie will sleep on a cat tree or the children's bed in the home.
He will eat anything and isn't fussy.
Ideally he would be great in a home with a family who have older kids or someone who is looking for a companion.
He has had a flea and worm treatment.
Willie will use a litter tray in the house.
