Integrating diplomacy and defense to advance national security and lasting peace.
The Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA), in collaboration with Rabdan Academy @RabdanAcademy , hosted an interactive panel discussion titled “Diplomacy & Defense,” bringing together students and future leaders from both institutions to examine the strategic interplay between foreign policy and defense capabilities.
The dialogue explored crisis management, strategic coordination, and proactive approaches to addressing evolving regional and global security dynamics, reinforcing a comprehensive, whole-of-nation framework to safeguard the UAE's vital interests.
تكامل الدبلوماسية والدفاع.. رؤى وطنية لتعزيز الأمن وبناء السلام المستدام.
نظمت أكاديمية أنور قرقاش الدبلوماسية، بالتعاون مع أكاديمية ربدان، جلسة حوارية تفاعلية بعنوان «الدبلوماسية والدفاع »، جمعت طلبة وخريجي المؤسستين لمناقشة الترابط الوثيق بين العمل الدبلوماسي والجاهزية الأمنية والدفاعية.
وتناولت الجلسة آليات تعزيز التنسيق المشترك بين الدبلوماسيين وخبراء الأمن والدفاع لإدارة الأزمات ومواجهة التحديات الإقليمية والدولية المتسارعة، بما يجسد تكامل الجهود الوطنية لخدمة مصالح دولة الإمارات وحماية مكتسباتها.

أتطلع إلى المشاركة في الحوار التفاعلي مع الدول الأعضاء في الأمم المتحدة وممثلي المجتمع المدني، المقرر عقده اليوم. ويمثل هذا الحوار فرصة مهمة لعرض رؤيتي للمنظمة، والإجابة عن الأسئلة، والاستماع إلى آراء مختلف الدول الأعضاء وأولوياتها.

جانب من الجلسة الحوارية التي عقدها سعادة الدكتور محمد إبراهيم الظاهري، نائب مدير عام الأكاديمية، خلال جولة وفد أكاديمية أنور قرقاش الدبلوماسية في الصين.
سلّط سعادته الضوء على مرتكزات السياسة الخارجية لدولة الإمارات، وأهمية الشراكة الاستراتيجية الشاملة مع الصين في مجالات الاقتصاد، والطاقة، والأمن الغذائي، والتبادل الثقافي والتعليمي. كما أكد على نهج الإمارات القائم على بناء الثقة، وتعزيز الحوار الإيجابي، والاضطلاع بدور استباقي لترسيخ الاستقرار والتنمية والازدهار في المنطقة والعالم.

His Excellency highlighted the core pillars of UAE foreign policy, emphasizing the multifaceted strategic partnership with China across trade, energy, food security, and education. He underscored the UAE's proactive diplomatic approach to building trust, fostering dialogue, and advancing long-term regional and global stability
In exclusive remarks to @khaleejtimes , Dr. Sara Chehab, Academic Director at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, said that Gaza aid negotiations highlight what H.E. @Lana_Nusseibeh could bring to the role of UN Secretary-General: diplomatic skill in managing negotiations between governments without losing sight of civilians’ needs.
She noted that the adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 2720 to increase aid to Gaza was only a first step, requiring guaranteed humanitarian access and the implementation of commitments that could pave the way for broader political understandings.
Dr. Sara Chehab added that Nusseibeh’s candidacy reflects the potential for the UN to benefit from the Gulf’s growing role in mediation, as well as her experience in humanitarian work, development, and institutional reform.

في أولى محطاتها الآسيوية والنسخة الرابعة من سلسلة حواراتها الاستراتيجية، شاركت أكاديمية أنور قرقاش الدبلوماسية بوفد ترأسه سعادة الدكتور محمد إبراهيم الظاهري @MIMAldhaheri نائب مدير عام الأكاديمية، في «الحوار الإماراتي–الصيني» الذي استضافه معهد العلاقات الدولية في أكاديمية شنغهاي للعلوم الاجتماعية (SASS).
جمعت الجلسات نخبة من الباحثين وصناع الرأي لمناقشة المشهد الإقليمي والدولي، وتطوير الشراكة الاستراتيجية الشاملة بين دولة الإمارات وجمهورية الصين الشعبية، إلى جانب بحث فرص التعاون الأكاديمي وتبادل الخبرات البحثية بين المؤسستين.
تمثل دولة الإمارات والصين شريكين استراتيجيين شاملين تجمعهما مصالح مشتركة في مجالات عدة، وكلاهما قوى تدعم الاستقرار العالمي. وكأصدقاء، نتشارك القلق حيال الأوضاع الراهنة؛ لذا يسهم الحوار الصادق في تعميق التفاهم المتبادل وإرساء أسس راسخة للثقة المتبادلة والتعاون الثنائي.
