Most people think AI's biggest benefit is saving time.
I'm not so sure.
I think its biggest benefit is reducing friction.
The easier it becomes to:
• learn
• build
• test ideas
• start businesses
the more ambitious people become.
And ambition compounds faster than productivity ever will.
AI coding agents don’t need access to your whole machine.
Give each agent only:
→ the repo/folder it needs
→ the tools it needs
→ approval for destructive actions
Agent permissions should work like employee permissions: least privilege.
AI can give you a perfectly confident outdated answer.
For anything time-sensitive, require: → source → publication/update date→ date the claim was verified
No current source = no current claim.
Long AI projects have a dangerous failure mode: temporary ideas quietly become permanent decisions.
Keep a decision ledger: → LOCKED → OPEN → TEMPORARY
Make AI check it before changing the plan.
AI keeps stopping halfway through long tasks?
Make it write a checkpoint every 10–15 minutes: → completed → still pending → exact next action
If it stalls, the next run resumes instead of restarting.
AI agents can pass tests and still wreck a mature codebase.
Before coding, make the agent map: → architecture it must preserve →dependencies it cannot introduce → tests that prove behavior stayed intact
Make it learn the house rules before renovating.
AI memory has a hidden failure mode: stale context.
Once a week, ask it to audit its memory for: → outdated facts →conflicting instructions → finished projects still treated as active
Bad memory is worse than no memory.
AI coding agents sometimes “fix” things you never asked them to touch.
Before execution, require: → files allowed to change → files explicitly off-limits → approval before changing business logic
Autonomy needs a blast radius.
AI tool limits shouldn’t kill work halfway through.
Before a long session ends, ask for a checkpoint: → what’s finished →unresolved decisions → exact next step
A clean checkpoint makes switching models far less painful.
Just joined Revenue through X and got a $58 welcome bonus.
Apparently new members can get $20–$600 — mine landed at $58.

We have regained full control of our accounts and systems. All services are now operational, and swaps have resumed.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

AI agents get worse when instructions are scattered everywhere.
For each task, generate one execution brief: → goal + constraints →files/tools allowed → definition of done
Give the agent one source of truth, not 8 instruction files.
An AI update can break a workflow overnight.
Keep a 1-page workflow manifest: → tools + permissions it needs →folders/data it must access → one test that proves it still works
Run the test after every major update.
AI generated 500 lines of code.
Now you have to review 500 lines.
Ask for a change summary first:
→ files changed
→ behavior changed
→ risky assumptions
Review the map before reading the territory.
AI coding agents can quietly burn tokens on the wrong task.
Before a long run, set:
→ max subagents
→ max task scope
→ stop conditions
Give autonomy a budget, not a blank check.
Using two AI tools for one project?
Stop being the human copy-paste API.
Keep one shared project file with:
→ current goal
→ decisions made
→ next actions
Let both AIs work from the same source of truth.
AI keeps drifting from your instructions?
Add a checkpoint before every major output:
“Re-read the project rules. List any conflicts with your draft.”
Fix the conflicts before generating the final.
Don’t rely on AI to remember. Make it verify.
