Thank you again to everyone who came with us on this journey. Whether you were a volunteer, supporter, voter, or friend, I am forever grateful for you. This journey is not over, far from it. Because we do not ever stop fighting for hardworking families, the next generation of kids, those who came before us, and a stronger North Florida. Keep your yard signs if you can for now. Who knows what the future might hold for us! And to those elected to the 120th Congress, congratulations! The voters spoke LOUDLY and we look forward to you listening. To the Democrats who flipped seats, particularly in rural districts, you are the future of our party. Please fight like hell to weed out the corruption in DC, bring down the cost of living, stop the war, and hold those who profiteer by hoodwinking the American people accountable. Finally to Austin, I meant it when I said I'd like to sit down and share what I've heard. Thanks for saying you'd welcome it. Once I'm over this cold, let's set a date. The people of North Florida deserve better.

While this is not the outcome we hoped for, I am proud of the campaign we ran that focused on putting the people first, supporting farmers and families in our rural areas, and refusing money from corporations and billionaires. When I think about every person who supported and believed in this campaign, every volunteer who showed up, and every neighbor who trusted me with their story and their vote, I feel more gratitude than I can put into words. And that gratitude far exceeds the disappointment. We gave this campaign everything we had because we love this place and know that we deserve better. North Florida is my home and I’m not done working to make it a better place for all of us.

I’m doing this for my little boy and all the children in our district. I’m doing this because the hardworking families of North Florida deserve better. Because they all deserve a future worth fighting for. 💙 Polls close in a few hours—7PM local time. Make sure you’re getting out and voting. If you’re in line before polls close you can still vote!

Stopped by Tallahassee ALERT’s The Turnout today after church. Loved spending time with neighbors in Tallahassee talking about the importance of getting out the vote on the FINAL day of early voting in Leon. 🗳️🎶

Such a wonderful time at the 45th Annual Sunland Fall Festival Parade today! Loved celebrating Halloween with everyone and seeing so many creative costumes. Just an incredible Jackson County tradition that brings folks across North Florida together year after year 🍂🧡
