AMO and the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen collaboration between Ontario’s municipal and business communities, which will support information-sharing, research, and engagement on shared priorities affecting local economies and communities.

On behalf of AMO, I extend my deepest condolences to Mac Bain’s family, friends and colleagues. Mac dedicated decades of his life to municipal government, serving the City of North Bay and advocating for municipalities across Northern Ontario and the province. Through his leadership at FONOM and his work with AMO, Mac was a solid voice for municipal interests and the communities they serve. He will be remembered for his dedication to public service and his lasting contributions to municipal government in Ontario. - AMO President Riley Brockington
