The ending of #TheCelebrityTraitors was very blatantly edited around the leaked panic attack James Acaster had, and knowing that context, I am happy he managed to bow out on a good note.
That said, I really feel bad for Maya and Kenny as this basically confirms they're traitors.
History sometimes rhymes, but god, the contrast of this is just, like, beautiful in a way that feels like a novel.
The most giddy joyful wants-to-be-a-Traitor man declaring at the start... and the most downbeat did-not-want-to-be man declaring at the end. #TheCelebrityTraitors

Also, very honoured and delighted to have made the final five shortlist this year with NAME and three other really lovely writing talents.

You know, I think thereβs potential for another adaptation of du Maurierβs novella despite the iconic status of Hitchcockβs filmβ¦
But βa killer on the loose and personal threats mounting, Myra fights to protect her daughterβ feels so much more Psycho and so very not The Birds.
HBO is developing a series reboot of Alfred Hitchcockβs classic film βThe Birds,β with Sarah Snook in the lead role.
The official logline states: βEscaping a bitter custody battle, Myra Massey (Snook) returns home with her young daughter, secretly probing a childhood friendβs suspicious disappearance. With a killer on the loose and personal threats mounting, Myra fights to protect her daughter against a terrifying new menace: vicious, deadly bird attacks inexplicably tied to the crime.β

β’ two men with disabilities; at least one being neurodivergent
β’ a gay man
Wouldβve been so nice.

I feel a bit sad that we didnβt get-
