You always take a firm stance, you never leave anything to chance.
You always deliver what you promise in ts most purest form, true to your word, your word is your bond, you never do anything remiss!
You are always willing to take initiative, you never do anything manipulative.

We were at the Atlantic Council headquarters in Washington, DC, yesterday, to participate in the very first Global Leadership Forum. This forum gathers leaders from across the world to speak on the challenges they face in their work.
During my session, I focused on the deteriorating state of human rights and democracy in Uganda. I also shared thoughts on how global partners -- especially the United States -- are contributing to this state of affairs, and what they need to do different.

Please Ugandans, let everyone play his/her role in weakening the dictator! You can witness, our President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu @HEBobiwine is not settled! ~AMS•

Those are the clips of some of the abducted Ugandans in the torture chambers after being severely tortured by the son of the Ugandan dictator Museveni who at the same time happens to be the head of military. This is how the do their thing while looking for new abductees!!!👇🏿🇺🇬💔
HE Bobi Wine, thank you #FADAH, your voice, always giving us strength.
To friends who never forget the injustices our generation endures for simply nonviolently resisting dictatorship 🙏🏾✊🏾🙏🏾 the struggle lives because you refuse to forget. We remain unbroken. Freedom is coming.

Liu Xiaobo’s final statement to court during his trial for “inciting subversion of state power” was of a concise affirmation, on how the drive for liberty outlasts any regime, 🙏“There is no force that can put an end to the human quest for freedom.”

Not to sound crass or insensitive, but I've seen tweets of the funeral service of a son to one of the security chiefs and noted that some of his children have dreadlocks. I remember how, in recent elections, security agencies kept stereotyping & abducting dreadlocked youth. Hmmm.

I hope the responsible magistrates for this kind of abuse of fundamental rights to @AMufumbiro are in attendance @JSCUganda @JudiciaryUG

Lord Justice Egonda Ntende’s powerful parting shot hit hard: Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro locked up on a minor, obscure and unproven charge while his wife Edith Katende Mufumbiro lost her battle with cancer. Their young children had to mourn and bury their mother alone. No child should endure this pain. Justice without compassion is empty; it must have a soul.
Thank you, Lord Justice, for speaking truth.
Rest in peace Edith. 🙏🏽 #JusticeForMufumbiro
This powerful message from Justice Fredrick Egonda Ntende hits different.
In this video, I couldn’t help but see shades of legendary Justice Thurgood Marshall 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾that same courage, clarity, and unwavering commitment to justice.
Thank you, Lord Justice Fredrick Egonda Ntende.

It's skipped me, but on Monday this week, that is, the day before yesterday, @eddie_mutwe made ONE YEAR IN JAIL! That's TWELVE MONTHS, 365 days and counting!

REBELS: The Anti-Sovereignty Bill is noise. The junta wants us debating phantom laws while political prisoners rot in cells. The struggle isn’t in Parliament. It’s in Luzira, Kitalya & Kigo. Gen Z mustn’t lose focus. Ignore the AI-generated distraction. #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners
Fellow Ugandans,
I speak as a grieving husband and a prisoner of conscience in a nation where injustice has become the norm.
The regime may jail me and deny me the right to mourn my wife, but it will never break my resolve.
This is bigger than me. It is about a Uganda where:

A liberator's presence in global spaces is not always submission, sometimes it is strategy, visibility, and the reclaiming of our narrative.
The struggle for African liberation has never been confined to geography, but driven by consciousness, unity, and purpose.
As Kwame Nkrumah taught us, the independence of Africa lies in the mind and action of its people, not in isolation, but in strength.
