Vouch thread! If you have ever interacted with, bought or sold to me please leave a comment for those who may be interested in doing business with me!
To rant a little further, I am an Engineer by career and experience. Everything I do is systems optimization. I am constantly looking how to be better at seller, buying, networking. I remember this time last year I could sell a card for more than 82%…now I don’t go below 90%
To really understand, sometimes I buy at 85% but you also have to understand math. The only way that’s feasible or makes sense to do is volume your selling. 5% on a $1000 deal is $50 (which is good for doing nothing) but 5% on $100,000 is $5,000 and on a $1,000,000 is $50,000 and so on and so forth. Once I mapped that out and understood margins and best business practice by reading, watching other big hobby name and sellers (shoutout @CardsMax @Royals_Cards @JohnErickson107 @bigwerms @paullydoughnuts @ALTPEPEEEEEEE @ronniegcards @powerrips @JylesCards @FlyingAsianCard @NoHoldsCards and sooo many more creators and sellers) I adapted and actually put in the work and time. And I am forever gratefully for this has done business wise for me, financially, and the relationship and friends I have made along the way. @AbjCards is the man too because he trusted me when he didn’t have to, and I’ll always be grateful when people do that! Enjoy the day!
What I mean is, I have built up hopefully a nice reputation with good people and all channels I need (sourcing and distribution) and everything else is just gravy. I am so thankful I can have a card sold and paid for before I even buy it.
Makes you wonder😅
I sat back and realized that I think I’m LARPing as a vendor lol. I love interacting with people on here, doing a giveaway (which I need to soon. Thanks for 500+ followers!) and seeing all the cool cards but man…if you do this the right way there is no need to sell at shows.
Excited for Dallas card show this weekend. Cannot wait to sell all my cards lol just to buy a lot more
Just late night up bah chasing when I saw this…
PSA must be sending some new orders to different facilities that are processing them much faster. This order has been there five days…
