It was so cool to have NBA Senior Writer for THE ATHLETIC @joevardon read and praise my forthcoming book. We were Little League and youth football and High School baseball and football teammates. Joe went on to cover @KingJames for several years.
Joe has a forthcoming book on LeBron with @WindhorstESPN coming soon. I managed to catch him in the calm before the storm—just before the NBA season thrust him into another 8 months of frenetic traveling and writing deadlines.
