Monitoring
Severe weather will continue east after Monday's severe threat. Tuesday's severe weather threat has a little more uncertainty, but the same all-hazards threat should remain, with a slightly lower tornado threat...

Keep it on your radar and don’t worry!
Tornadoes in Arkansas next week? 🤔 I’m not a big fan of how we’ve trended for early next week here in Arkansas, specially Monday/Tuesday. It’s possible that we could encounter a very strong storm system across the region. My thoughts as of Tuesday AM: -TON of energy to work with, wind profiles support severe weather and tornadoes in Arkansas. -Do we have the storm fuel? It seems like many times in the fall we have the wind energy but not the storm fuel. The lack of storm fuel could make this a big nothing burger. -What is the timing actually going to look like? This could have big impacts on how this evolves. -Are models overestimating the strength of the system? We’re far enough away that we should be skeptical, but close enough that we need to respect the chances here. Consider this my attempt at putting this “on your radar” (pun intended) for now. One positive to all of this is that more rainfall is likely after the Halloween chances this weekend. Stick with the Arkansas Weather Network and download our free mobile app for consistent updates.
