This reflects ~27% of Microsoft's total workforce.
can anyone help me track down these two random New Yorkers? they argued that livestreaming is an "art" and im lowkey convinced
The Michigan Senate Race is getting so stupid.
Republicans claim that Abdul El-Sayed has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood because of damning evidence that... his name is "Abdul El-Sayed."
Democrats claim Mike Rogers has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood because of his 2013 vote to send aid to Egypt under Mohamed Morsi, a Brotherhood member.
Btw, that was the right decision — it rewarded Morsi for democratic reforms...
So I might as well get ahead of the controversy and announce my ties to the Muslim Brotherhood:
I love Halal food and the cart on 18th and 6th is freaking gas
RIP Friday nights
I've heard everywhere that my generation of Americans is less social than ever.
But earlier this month, The Atlantic ran a piece that looked at the data.
And the problem isn't that people are specifically staying home on Friday nights — it's that no one is shifting that social time to other days.
From my experience in NYC, things are still pretty vibey on weekends. And people still want to make plans with their friends.
But people are working so damn hard in this economy that no one seems to have the same time they used to.
What do you think?
Clavicular is running a "Looksmaxxing Camp," and it's actually a great deal:
For a light $7,500 you get to:
- hang out at a campside mansion
- eat meals from private chefs
- continue getting no women
Sure, for the same $7,500 I could max out my Roth IRA.
But is that the same as a enjoying week of sleepovers with my fellow men?
Netflix stock is at its lowest in 2 years.
It's down $270 billion, sitting at its current market cap of...
$270 billion.
This news comes just as Nielsen reported last week that YouTube has a record 15.8% watch-time share on TVs.
Meaning YouTube now doubles its biggest competitor...
Netflix.
Interesting, kinda what we pointed out in our AI spending short
As adoption increases, prices decrease
But this post is more interesting because enterprises are themselves decreasing spend
So consumers are also becoming more wise with their money
The most advanced AI adopters are now spending *less* on AI as they advance along the adoption curve.
We can't see the scales on these charts but based on Ramp data among top 1% firms, it's possible Notion has engineered an outright decline in total AI spend.
This is a fundamental reversal of how we previously forecasted adoption: More adoption >> more usage >> more spend. Past a certain point, the most advanced businesses also figure out how to *control* that spend, and with simultaneous price cuts, costs come down again.

Asked if big donors care about institutional decay when JD Vance comes asking for money, Anthony Scaramucci didn't hold back:
"I don't think they care."
"Their attitude is, I got to get richer. I don't really care. A lot of callous people...
Let the poor people smoke crystal meth, smoke pot, play video games. We'll give them some government subsidies to live on. I need to be a trillionaire."
— @Scaramucci, founder and managing partner of SkyBridge Capital, on @ASATNshow
good news! we know how to stop the AI bubble from popping.
the only problem?
we'd need to spend as much on AI as we do on FOOD:
