Jeff Clark, executive director of ASTM's Test Monitoring Center, celebrated the 50th anniversary of TMC today. Surrounded by TMC staff, ASTM senior staff, and members of the ASTM Board of Directors, Clark cut the anniversary cake, marking a milestone.

ASTM’s aromatic, industrial, specialty and related #chemicals committee (D16) has approved a new standard that presents a procedure for using gas chromatography to determine impurities in #methanol products. go.astm.org/4cBDCrN

ASTM’s water committee (D19) is developing a proposed standard for a test method to determine carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide content in highly alkaline water — a guide of measuring carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide using gas chromatography coupled with thermal conductivity detector. go.astm.org/4vVVq7V
