Social Security beneficiaries who are not typically required to file tax returns will not need to file to receive an economic impact payment. It’s automatic. More information from #IRS at irs.gov/coronavirus #COVIDreliefIRS

BREAKING: The New Jersey state tax filing deadline WILL BE EXTENDED from April 15th to July 15th. Additionally, the state fiscal year will be extended to September 30th to allow us to focus on leading our state out of this crisis. Thank you, @SpeakerCoughlin and @NJSenatePres.

Today, the Senate voted on 27 bills to help mitigate the impact of the #coronavirus crisis now, and in the months to come. To allow for proper social distancing, the senators met in the assembly chambers - requiring them to vote with paper ballots for the first time in decades.
