Damn! We thought Avatar writers were unfair with Suki, but what they did with him was in other level. They might be unfair cutting Suki out a lot recently… but at least they never wrote her suddenly ooc or contradicting her values to portray her negatively just to get rid of her

Tenzin already knows how much Aang loved Katara during his lifetime, but imagine if other of the women he spoke about most was his friend Suki—the one for whom Aang would control the soup using waterbending whenever she asked him to serve her some. #Sukaang buddies agenda crumbs~
So no, they weren't forced to give an active role to Suki in the movie. Just give her the credit & respect that AVATAR AANG HIMSELF gave her like Tenzin said Aang did in Legend of Korra's intro 🥺
The way the flashback started with Sokka and Suki side to side hits different now~

Kudos to Aang for talking to his son about SUKI and including her among the team avatar back then. It wasn't needed to give her a role IN LOK plot
Apologies! We'll return to the chill mood after this incident. Defending your fav character from people justifying the revisionism, canon erasure & then pretending that such an underrated character "had zero impact on the story, the MC or the journey" can touch anyone's nerves💔

Could it have been too hard to include Suki in the first picture if she won't have any active role in the movie due to the time limit? It's just a PNG, as simple as the 3 random cameos she got. It couldn't be any harder nor different than showing her with those same 5 characters
