The Atlanta City Council Transportation Committee honored Deputy Commissioner Allen Smith in recognition of his 15 years of dedicated service with the Atlanta Department of Transportation as he prepares to begin a new chapter as Deputy General Manager at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Councilmember Andrea L. Boone recognized Mr. Smith's contributions, stating, “Your diligence and professionalism are a testament to your character and commitment to excellence. Your leadership in improving Atlanta’s streets and sidewalks reflects your commitment to a safer transportation network for everyone.”

Howell Mill Road is getting its finishing touches! 👀🚧 Our crews are even working at night to install permanent pavement markings, bringing the roadway another step closer to completion.
