Every Trainer Has A Story.
From Pokémon GO adventures to childhood memories, Pokémon has shaped millions of lives.
But the stories behind the Trainers often go untold.
🧵
This Rocket’s Scyther sat at my local card shop for weeks. Probably because of all the creases across it.
Eventually, I bought it. I don't care that it's damaged. The crease didn't make Scyther look any less cool.

Two people. One shared love for Pokémon.

Making my rounds across DFW delivering free Pokémon wristbands to local communities! ❤️
Thanks to everyone supporting this mission. You’re helping us make a difference for the next generation of Pokémon Trainers!

What if the mask you wear to survive keeps people from knowing you?
Zorua hides behind illusions. We sometimes hide behind people-pleasing, humor, or silence.
My latest Safari Ball blog explores when it’s time to stop hiding.

I’m not a full-time content creator.
I don’t ever want to be.
That probably sounds strange coming from someone who podcasts, writes, posts, attends events, and creates constantly.
But there’s a reason. 🧵
At the end of this, I don’t want my legacy to be that I became a successful content creator.
I want it to be that I loved what I did.
That I helped where I could.
That I built something meaningful without letting it consume me.
That is As The Pokéball Turns.
Every Trainer has a story.
I just want to make sure I’m still living mine.

Sometimes the people who inspire you can only show you where to start.
@SteelAgentKyle wanted to become a Pokémon UNITE caster. Eventually, he learned he couldn't sound like his inspirations.
He had to find his own voice.

For a little while, #PokemonGO felt like 2016 again.
No deep conversations. Just shiny hunts, bad luck, Mewtwo, Eevee, Cinderace, and people who love this game as much as I do.
Sometimes community is simply a few hours where life feels a little lighter.

I first knew this Arcanine from the Pokémon TCG on Game Boy Color. I didn't even realize the physical card existed until years later.
Now it's part of my Black Star Promo collection. Sometimes collecting is just finding a childhood memory again.
