As First Lady Oluremi @SenRemiTinubu and I returned from engagements in Akwa Ibom and Rivers States this evening, I saw her keenly watching the Flamingos’ World Cup final against Japan. What a joy to see our girls defeat Japan 2–1 and become the first African team to lift the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup trophy.
Our young girls have conquered the world, made history and brought immense honour to Nigeria and the African continent.
I followed your remarkable journey throughout the tournament in Morocco, and I remember your promise after the semi-final victory to bring the trophy home. Today, you have kept that promise with courage, discipline and unwavering belief in yourselves.
Your triumph goes far beyond football. Millions of young Nigerian girls will look at what you have achieved and know that they, too, can dream big, compete with the best and reach the pinnacle of their chosen fields.
I congratulate every member of this exceptional team, the coaching crew, the Nigeria Football Federation, the National Sports Commission and everyone who contributed to this historic achievement.

Hajiya Saadat Yakub Danladi (Ajoke Kwara), the amiable wife of the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly and Kwara State APC Governorship Candidate, Rt. Hon. Saliu Yakubu Danladi, stole the show at the mega rally in support of our great party. With her motherly smile and humility, she stormed the rally ground alongside thousands of women, youths and party faithfuls, charging the crowd with energy and hope. In her address, she thanked the people of Kwara for their love and continuous support for APC, and she called on all women to come out in their numbers to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the election of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON as Senator representing Kwara Central, her husband Rt. Hon. Saliu Yakubu Danladi (SYD) as Governor of Kwara State, and all other APC candidates in the state ahead of the 2027 general election.
She further described President Tinubu as a visionary leader who means well for Nigeria, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as a performer who has transformed Kwara, and SYD as a competent, loyal and youth-friendly leader who is ready to take Kwara to greater heights. The crowd erupted in jubilation with chants of Sai Tinubu! Sai AbdulRazaq! Sai SYD! Sai APC! as Hajiya Saadat prayed for peaceful elections and total victory for APC in 2027 Insha'Allah. The mega rally was indeed a clear testimony that Kwara is APC and APC is Kwara, and victory is ours.

In Akwa Ibom, I was pleased to see the landmark projects delivered by Governor Umo Eno, including investments in roads, aviation and tourism. The Ibom Deep Sea Port also holds enormous potential for trade, investment and jobs across the region.
In Rivers State, the energy at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium was electrifying. I spoke about the progress we have made, the challenges that remain and the opportunities we are working to create for our young people.
As I told our people in Port Harcourt, the 2027 election is about the future of our young people and the country we are building for them.
I thank Vice President Kashim Shettima, Governors Umo Eno and Siminalayi Fubara, our party leaders, traditional rulers and the wonderful people of both states for their support and hospitality.

APC Consolidates Growing Support in Kwara as 20,000 Residents Rally for SYD, AbdulRazaq, other Candidates
The capital of Kwara State, Ilorin, was once again locked down for the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday as over 20,000 residents, party members and stakeholders took over the streets in a rally for all the candidates of the party.
The residents and party stakeholders, adorned in orange polo shirts and caps bearing the inscription ‘Iwaju La Nlo’, were seen across the streets of Ilorin, urging Kwarans to vote for all APC candidates, including President Bola Tinubu, the governorship candidate, Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, and Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
The massive turnout further demonstrated the growing support for the APC in the state, with party faithful and supporters expressing confidence in the leadership of Governor AbdulRazaq and the party's candidates ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The rally also provided an opportunity for party members to reaffirm their commitment to the success of all APC candidates. They called on residents to sustain the momentum by voting for the party at all levels.
They maintained that supporting the APC would ensure continuity in governance and consolidate the gains recorded under the present administration.
