Vote for Bridget Fitzgibbons and Bradley Bettencourt. Don't let out-of-state money control Mesa's representation at the State Legislature.
They represent them. I represent you. Two out of every three dollars for these LD9 Democrats come from outside Arizona. Mesa's seat isn't for sale!

Mesa needs thoughtful, honest, experienced leaders like Bettencourt to represent us at the State capital. His Democratic Socialist "competitors" in this race come no where close, especially in the honesty category.
Life costs too much right now. At the State House, I'll fight for homes you can afford, paychecks that go further, and good jobs close to home. Watch for your early ballot this week. Vote for Bettencourt!

MORE TIME TO SPEAK UP: The Census comment deadline is now November 2! The Census Bureau has extended the deadline, giving Americans more time to weigh in on the 2030 Census. Election Integrity Network is asking you to submit a comment focused on three clear requests: ✅ Support a citizenship question. Start your comment with “I support” and ask that a citizenship question be included on the census form. ✅ Support U.S. citizens only for House seats. Ask that seats in Congress be divided among states based only on their U.S. citizen populations. Our request excludes lawful permanent residents and all other noncitizens. ✅ Support a true, accurate count. Ask the Bureau to count people directly, rather than using algorithms, estimates, statistical projections, or administrative records as substitutes for an actual count. Make your voice heard in three steps: 1. Click regulations.gov/commenton/US… 2. Write your comment. Explain why these changes matter to you. 3. Complete the required fields and submit by November 2 More time means more opportunity. Submit your comment and share this with a friend.

Arizona's small businesses need @DrFitzgibbons in the State Senate! She understands that small businesses are the backbone of the economy and we're drowning in regulations. Vote Fitzgibbons! facebook.com/share/p/1YyJszJ…

Mesa needs common sense. Mesa needs Brad Bettencourt.
“I’m running because the numbers have to add up: for our state budget and for the families who live here,” Bettencourt said. “I stepped up when my own community of 5,000 homes discovered more than a million and a half dollars in budget errors and helped get the finances back on track. Arizona families are dealing with rising prices while paychecks struggle to keep up. They deserve a representative who will bring practical solutions, not games or extremes.”

“I fully endorse Brad Bettencourt for the Arizona House in LD 9,” Reim said. “Brad is a businessman who has already done the hard work in his own community. He understands water, housing, public safety, and the pressure families feel when costs keep rising. LD9 needs a representative who will show up, listen and fight every day for them. Brad is that candidate.” Bettencourt welcomed the endorsement and pointed to the shared focus on practical solutions. “Rep. Reim has shown what it looks like to stand up for your neighbors and fight for results,” Bettencourt said. “His support means a great deal. I will take that same approach to the Legislature: protect our water future, support first responders, keep parents in charge of their children’s education, and deliver a state budget that works for the people who live here.”

Mike Rowe reveals Ford has 5,000 unfilled mechanic jobs paying $120,000 a year. No degree required. AI-proof. And Ford still can't fill them. ROWE: "Not a week goes by when I don’t get a call from some CEO... elected official... freaking out." "They’ve done the math: for every five tradespeople who retire, two come in. It’s been that way for about 12 years now." “Jim Farley (Ford CEO) told me he’s got 5,000 empty bays at Ford. These are AI-proof six-figure jobs, right? $120,000 a year. He can’t fill them.” In a separation conversation with Shawn Ryan, Rowe said he visited a Texas data center and met three “debt-free” electricians under 30 making “north of $240,000/year.” All three of those electricians have been “poached” three times in the last 18 months because the demand for electricians is crazy high. THE BIG TAKEAWAY: If you're thinking about college but aren't sure what you really wanna do, trade school might be the smarter play. Chances are, you'll take on a lot less debt, make a lot more money — and AI won't be coming for your job anytime soon.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The unfilled Ford mechanic positions require about 5 years of training or experience; $120,000 pay is for top flat-rate performers, while the median auto technician salary is ~$50,000 with high attrition due to the pay system. nypost.com/2025/11/14/bus… fleetmaintenance.com/opinion/guest-… carscoops.com/2026/01/ford-m…

Apparently, asking one follow-up question was too much work. Arizona media dutifully turned Katie Hobbs’ press release into headlines declaring a $1 billion miracle, while burying the fact that this was old debt purchased for pennies on the dollar using federal taxpayer money. They should be ashamed of themselves for laundering campaign propaganda as news.

Richer is running a bad headline again and Resnik's falling for the click bate. Funny figures, pun intended. Turn out wasn't great at 36% of active voters (active on the rolls), here are the turnouts: DEM 42%, REP 38%, GRN 16%, LIB 13%, NOL 42%, OTH (mostly Unaffiliated) 28%.

Richer knows all of this as a county recorder for four years. So does Resnik having covered Arizona for 2.5 decades! They're click-bating, gaslighting, and more.

We saw in Adjudication that many voters received a Democratic ballot and wrote in every single contest with a Republican candidate's name (and vice versa). These aren't included in vote totals because one party's candidate isn't an eligible write-in on another party's Primary.
3
And let's not forget this election was a Party Primary and we have Open Primaries. And let's not forget Unaffiliated voters are notified in advance that they can pick ANY party's primary ballot.

Lots of talk of data centers and energy reliability, yet I didn't see any news report on the Commission's transmission workshop. So I'm posting the press release here. Make sure to re-elect @votenickmyers and @VoteKThompson to keep AZ going strong! The Arizona Corporation Commission held its Fourteenth Biennial Transmission Assessment Workshop on Thursday, July 16, 2026 to review the current status and future needs of Arizona’s transmission grid system. Each electric utility performed testing of their transmission system to identify any areas of reliability concern utilizing a set of reliability criteria identified by the Commission. The criteria includes ensuring thermal loadings and voltages remain within allowable normal and emergency limits; ensuring there are no voltage deviations outside of required guidelines; and confirming there are sufficient reactive power margins on their systems. This year, the Commission requested the utilities submit a detailed Confidential Critical Infrastructure Information report - a complete risk mapping of their transmission systems that identifies areas of congestion and load growth pockets. The Commission will use the information to review and assess the transmission grid as a whole when considering the numerous interconnection requests that are being submitted for the Commission's approval. “This year’s workshop was very comprehensive and much improved over prior workshops," said Vice Chair Rachel Walden. "I want to recognize our utilities for the detailed work and effort that went into testing their systems. I want to especially recognize and thank Tucson Electric Power for chairing the Southwest Area Transmission (“SWAT”) Task Force composed of all of our utilities that own and operate Arizona’s collective transmission grid.” The Task Force assessed the comprehensive list of transmission projects planned over the next ten years to identify any critical failures that might result if one or more of the projects was delayed or not completed on time. “Ensuring the reliability of our transmission grid is paramount, and as the result of the presentations provided to the Commission, I am confident that APS, TEP, UNSE, SRP and AEPCO have taken all the necessary and responsible actions to ensure Arizona’s grid continues to be in the top quartile of the most reliable grids in the country," said Vice Chair Walden.

Mesa must elect Brad Bettencourt. We need somebody who knows how to solve problems and not just complain about them. Brad is a man of the peopl with real-world experiences AND a great education. Bettencourt is the one we need in the Arizona House!!
Housing affordability and how we'll improve things in Arizona, including giving @JacobDMartinez the opportunity to move into his own place. I'll work to make things better for all our constituents, regardless of party affiliation
