O baka nga all of the above.” — Sen. Sonny Trillanes Savage. 😅💪🏻 #VPOnTrial #VPSaraOnTrial

📣"SHAME ON YOU" Louder pls Ms. Karen 💯 👏 We deserve better!!!! Public funds should be used for the welfare and benefit of the Filipino people, NOT to serve the personal interests of these corrupt officials. Our taxes should work for the people, not for those in power. 🇵🇭

I came across this TikTok account called Luxurychecked that identifies the actual designer pieces worn by public officials, complete with product photos and their corresponding prices. And honestly, nakakalula ang mga presyo. One of the posts features Quezon Governor Dr. Helen Tan, and I couldn't help but take a second look. Given the ongoing concerns about corruption and public accountability dito sa Pinas, these displays of luxury naturally raise some questions. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with being wealthy. But holding public office also comes with the responsibility to uphold transparency and lead by example. Under RA 6713, public officials are expected to live modestly, in accordance with their position and income, and avoid ostentatious displays of wealth. At the end of the day, the question is whether this kind of lifestyle is consistent with an official's declared assets and legitimate sources of income. Konting hiya naman sana sa mga public officials natin, and as taxpayers, we have every right to ask questions!

Thank you, @DZMMTeleRadyo, for correcting the erroneous soc med card! This is the corrected version they posted.
Hi, @DZMMTeleRadyo Please correct this headline. This is misleading. I did not say more than Php80B was for Suansing’s district alone. Php83.7B worth of multipurpose buildings (MPBs) is the figure for MPB’s NATIONWIDE and not just in the DEO that covers Suansing’s district.

𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜 𝗗𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗢 𝗦𝗔 𝗧𝗔𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗚𝗔 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗬𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗔 𝗕𝗨𝗗𝗚𝗘𝗧!

Clearing Imeldific SKETCHES - Ana Marie Pamintuan In 2003, the Supreme Court ruled that Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos’ legitimate income from their combined salaries during their 20-year rule amounted to only P2.3 million ($304,372 at the time). The amount was manifestly disproportionate to the Marcos couple’s $356 million discovered after the EDSA revolt in 1986 deposited in Credit Suisse in Zurich, Switzerland. The accounts were opened in 1968 under dummy foundations and entities, with Ferdinand and Imelda using the names William Saunders and Jane Ryan. In November 2018, Imeldific was convicted by the Sandiganbayan of seven counts of graft in relation to the Swiss deposits. She was sentenced to a combined prison term of up to 77 years, but the anti-graft court allowed her to post P300,000 bail. This year, in a decision dated June 10, 2026, but made public only in September, the First Division of the Supreme Court reversed the conviction and cleared Imeldific. Among the reasons cited was that the Swiss bank documents – the same ones used in the 2003 SC ruling – were not properly authenticated and therefore lacked probative value, and the prosecution witnesses lacked personal knowledge of the documents’ contents. tinyurl.com/5n8dttve

NCR alone has at least 10 golf courses. We can start by nationalizing those courses, converting it to parks then open it up to the public.
i wish we had a place like this, for meetups, dates and hangouts, instead of overpriced cafes
