Public sector workers are set to receive a 9% increase in total remuneration in 2027, followed by a 10% across-the-board pay rise in 2028, following an agreement between the government and Organised Labour. Organised Labour Secretary-General Joshua Ansah says the 2027 adjustment will include an 8% base pay increase and a 1% allocation for conditions of service.
