Before Anything Else, He Prayed! Over 250 years ago, when America's future was uncertain, George Washington turned to prayer before he turned to anything else. At Valley Forge, they were hungry, they were cold, and there was doubt. But Washington sought the strength of Almighty God. From my Faith and Freedom Conference talk. #GeorgeWashington #ValleyForge #Prayer #FaithAndFreedom #Leadership #Faith #USHistory #Veterans youtube.com/shorts/hoTCUmDHY… via @YouTube

I’ve been to Lithuania seven times, and it’s a country I always enjoy visiting. The castles, beautiful lakes, forests, and countryside are amazing. Walking through Old Town Vilnius, with its cobblestone streets and historic buildings, and enjoying the beautiful river running through the city are some of my favorite memories. One of the highlights was visiting the U.S. Embassy in Vilnius and receiving this challenge coin. One side features Lithuania’s national colors and the imagery of Vilnius. The other honors the Marine Security Guard Detachment serving there. As a Marine, that connection makes this coin especially meaningful to me. It brings back great memories of a beautiful country and represents the pride of our Marines serving overseas. It was an honor to speak at U.S. Southern Command on Tuesday for the Navy’s 251st birthday cake-cutting celebration. As a Marine, I’m proud of the history we share with our Navy. I spoke about the First Barbary War, which began in 1801, and how Sailors and Marines fought together to defend American lives and commerce overseas. That mission still matters today. Our Navy protects the sea lanes, supports our allies, and keeps threats far from our shores. Its presence matters to America and to people around the world who depend on safe passage at sea. A strong Navy is a necessity. History taught us that, and we cannot afford to forget it. Thank you for the opportunity to celebrate and recognize the Sailors and families who carry on that mission. Happy 251st Birthday, U.S. Navy! Semper Fidelis. #USNavy #NavyBirthday #SOUTHCOM #NavyMarineCorpsTeam #SeaPower #SemperFidelis

I’m excited to share my updated website! After 30 years in the United States Marine Corps and 30 years with the City of Hollywood Fire Department, I’ve been blessed with opportunities to share my experiences with organizations, schools, churches, military groups, and first responders across the country. My speaking engagements focus on ethical leadership, situational awareness, faith, resilience, and the importance of service. I’ve also added a new Media Kit to make it easier for event organizers to access my biography and professional photos. If you’re planning an upcoming conference, leadership seminar, military event, or Veterans Day program, I’d be honored to be considered as your guest speaker. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow, October 13, at noon at the Conference Center for the Americas as we celebrate the U.S. Navy’s 251st Birthday! Honored to be the Guest of Honor and share this day with our Navy family. 🇺🇸⚓ #USNavy #NavyBirthday #251Years #GuestOfHonor #SemperFi

The news this weekend is another reminder of why we need to pay attention to our surroundings. Praying for the families and communities affected by violence. Wherever you go to church, school, work, or out with your family, put the phone down, look around, and know your exits. If something doesn’t seem right, take it seriously. As a retired Marine and Fire Lieutenant, I train people and organizations in situational awareness and active shooter response. Having a plan matters. #SituationalAwareness #StayAlert #ActiveShooterTraining #CommunitySafety

It was truly an honor to have the opportunity to speak on Leadership at the Plano, Texas Fire Department and spend time with their firefighters and Fire Explorers. As a retired Fire Lieutenant and Marine, I always enjoy being around men and women who understand service, teamwork, preparation, and taking care of others. It was especially encouraging to see the next generation of young Fire Explorers learning what it means to serve their community. Grateful for the opportunity, the hospitality, and the time spent with such a great group. Semper Fi and God bless our firefighters and future first responders. #PlanoTexas #PlanoFireDepartment #Firefighters #FireExplorers #FirstResponders #Leadership #Service #PublicSafety #FireService #Veterans #SemperFi #CommunityService

I’m truly honored to share that I have been selected as one of the Veterans Day speakers for the 2026 Gold Hearts Gala benefiting Hearts for Moms on November 11, 2026, at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. As a retired Master Gunnery Sergeant of Marines and a combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom, it is always a privilege to share a small part of my journey, the lessons learned through military service, and the importance of faith, family, leadership, and service to others. This year’s gala is dedicated to the loving memory of Linda Koldenhoven and will support the mission of Hearts for Moms, empowering single mothers, nurturing children, and changing lives. I’m grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside the other speakers on Veterans Day and to help support such a meaningful organization.
