Not trying to rain on parades here, but as I said before, it’s going to be a VERY long road back.
12-18 months for reprised content to return is tough. It’ll be fun for a couple weeks, but the lack of new content becomes clear pretty fast.
Genuinely hope I still have some interest in the franchise when new content starts making its way into the game again.
🚨NEW: Bungie has shared the development timeline for Destiny 2's unvaulting project:
- June 2026: Initial greenlight
- September 2026: Project fully greenlit
- October 2026: Currently in pre-production
- January/February 2027: Expected completion of pre-production.
- February 2027 onward: Full production expected to take approximately 12 months

Today marks the start of my Farewell Subathon. When the timer hits zero, the final chapter of my streaming career will come to a close. I’ll be returning to Destiny for the first time in 10 months, and I can’t wait to see what Bungie’s cooked while I’ve been away!

I'm devastated, man.
I just wasn't ready for this chapter to close. Maddie has been with us for nearly our entire adult lives. Through multiple transformative milestones that made us who we are today. Career changes, marriage, moving into our first house, a second dog, and most recently our baby boy.
She was there for ALL of it.
It's a void we'll never be able to fill.

I’ve reflected a lot on the Destiny news today…and though it’s extremely sad, I just have so much to be thankful for.
Destiny gave me my dream career, it gave me life long friendships, it helped me foster an amazing community, and it gave me the most unforgettable Day 1 Raid experiences that you just can’t get anywhere else.
From GMG, to Day 1s, to Shatter Skating around the Cosmodrome, I will miss Destiny more than I can even say.
Thank you for all your support over the years. It was truly an honor to create content for you all ❤️
