You are Cardoso and you find yourself with a situation where Mudau is back. But Matuludi who gives you pretty much the same what Mudau gives you but in Matuludi there’s more, good crosses, he can score. You out of CAFCL so you not rotating as much… What do you do?

Replying to @Absoltaire @Llekamania_
And what's worse is that Carrick was aware a LB is needed, maar no he decided to sign 3 midfielders
Space at 20:45!
Please pull through it you want to, otherwise, stay away!

Does Carrick even want to win any match?
Playing Dalot at LB it's a waste of space why still persist with Maguire

🚨Jason Wilcox and Omar Berrada’s MASTERCLASS planing at Manchester United:
• Spending £70m on a player who was being benched by 40-year-old James Milner last season and call him biggest signing of the summer while he is still a project.
• Spending £50m on a physically weak Chelsea substitute.
• Signing a slow, unathletic 29-year-old Tielemans just because he had a release clause.
• Going into the season WITHOUT a fit striker.
• Handing the managerial job to someone completely out of his depth — [With all respect to Carrick as player]
• Failing to replace our absolutely AWFUL left-back and right-back options.
• Bringing Marcus Rashford back.
This wasn’t bad luck. This was SHOCKING squad planning and INCOMPETENCE at the highest level.

The crazy thing about this team is there's no superstar players, no batter averaging over 40, it's a team that digs deep and finds a win wether it's bowler, allrounder or batsman.
Orlando Pirates is strong and played very well. But the referee was terrible Selepe did far worse than Miguel and should've walked

I wish there was one good hearted football legend who made it big in football who would sit down and talk to Mdu Shabalala. Kaizer Chiefs has a rare weapon here but he lacks the most important aspects that would make him a superstar maturity and consistency.
Rele is who he is because of consistency and maturity to his game! This boy if tomorrow he tells himself am putting a show in the Derby he can go out and win Kaizer Chiefs that game! He just needs to lock in! Be brave! Always choose to be dangerous! Select moments to use speed n calm..
Mdu has all the talent man the fact that Rele is playing a 10 in the Bafana Bafana ekhona should be encouraging him to go for that spot.. he can score! Dribble! Pass! He is fast he just needs to lock in and improve himself through personal training

For now, I'd still pair Maboe x Ox.
■ The only thing I'd change is how they operate in the 1st and 2nd phases. When we push Ox higher because we believe he's not technically secure enough in build-up, we give Maboe more responsibility in the 1st phase, even though he's better suited to contributing in the final 3rd than Ox. We're moving our more technically equipped midfielder away from the areas where he can have the greatest attacking influence.
■ Instead, let Ox drop between the CBs during the 1st phase. This reduces the technical demands on him in build-up because he doesn't have to receive under pressure, turn into traffic or resort to endless backpasses. It's a simpler way to use his ball-winning qualities while helping us progress possession. It also gives us a back 3 in possession, improving our defensive security when we lose the ball. Ox won't have to cover as much ground to protect the defence or compensate for advancing fullbacks. He also doesn't have any qualities we are in desperate need of in the final 3rd.
■ This allows Maboe to operate closer to the 10 more effectively, where he can increase his passing volume into the final 3rd and make more final 3rd entries. We get more of his technical qualities in areas where they can hurt opponents, while Ox provides defensive security behind him. That balance can help us play on the front foot without compromising our structure. We can even improve our ability to keep possession in the final 3rd with our 8 closer to the opposition box more.
■ There are other solutions involving different players, but for now, I'd want us to maximise what we already have. Let Ox do what he does best defensively, and use Maboe's technical qualities to connect our midfield to the attack. Lets not forget that Maboe is a goalscoring midfielder, but using him too far from the opposition box forces the unnecessary long range strikes he normally attempts unlike high probability attempts from good scoring positions. Build from those complementary strengths rather than asking them to operate in roles that limit their best qualities.

You can get away with being so quick that batters lack the technique to stay in, but that's probably limited to 1st class cricket. Can you swing four balls away before bowling a searing in swinger to trap a test batter in front?
