I GOT THE SMB2J ANY% WORLD RECORD! The run ended up being a 7:51.607, exactly 1 framerule faster than the previous WR by Niftski. This run happened about an hour after Niftski's new SMB1 Any% WR, what a crazy day for 2D Mario speedrunning, 2 WRs in 1 day.

Dampe RNG has been solved on OoT When Dampe blinks, he flutters his eyes either 3 or 4 times. By taking note of how long each blink is and putting them in a calculator, the possible RNG seeds can eventually be narrowed down to guarantee the heart piece, at the cost of some waiting. Found by @PoodleSkirt2

About a month ago, powmia99 discovered a way to trigger arbitrary code execution fully standalone in Animal Crossing GameCube with nothing but a controller. This was confirmed by Cuyler and I to work on vanilla hardware and we now have a setup that makes it 100% consistent.
