I was the #victim of a #hitandrun. The SUV that hit me, nearly killed me, and caused a Severe #TBI with a #GlasgowComaScale of 3 and #hydrocephalus was found by an angel a few days later. It just hit my body and my little road bike! It looks like a tree fell on it! 🤯
#CTscans are now a part of my life. Annually checking the #Shunt is still removing liquid from my brain caused by newly acquired ##Hydrocephalus after the SUV hit me and caused a Severe Traumatic Brain Injury with a GCS of 3. #TBI #GCS #GlasgowComaScale #Medical #neuroscience

Confidence is increasing next week in what could potentially be one of the worst heatwaves on record for the Southeast US.
Models are projecting a brutal heat dome to intensify over the region, bringing temperatures well over 100F, threatening all-time record highs. Stay tuned.

LAST NIGHT we created a temporary safe path on Valencia St for ppl biking & scooting while motorists idled in the bike lane.
It is a disgrace that 1 of SF's premiere retail corridors & a major N/S bike artery continues to be a dangerous car sewer. This must change. #justaminute

it’s not the type of public comment that gets bike lanes built, but i have to say: riding bikes is one of the only things that makes the pain and suffering in this world melt away. for that brief time on my bike, especially when i’m in protected lanes, i feel free. – at Bayonne, France
Hi! I almost died last year! No really. And I want to post about it. But I haven't posted on Twitter in a long time so curious if anyone still follows me. Give this a like if you see this post, por favor!

A mind-boggling 166-degree Fahrenheit temperature contrast in North America over the last 24 hours.
It was a frigid -60°F (-51.1°C) this morning in Chicken, Alaska and a boiling 105.8°F (41°C) yesterday in Tres Picos, Chiapas, Mexico.
Goodness 2021 has been astounding. Everything closed because COVID, so I went and spent a few months in Mexico. Heading North, I went thru a hit-and-run in San Diego, broke ~ 30 bones, had severe brain injury, 6 surgeries, and 5 months in the hospital. Oy. I got out a month ago.
Always stoked to see support of mission-driven startups. Thanks @MadronaVL for supporting founders who do work that matters. Excited to see what transparency.tube produces!
Mission-driven founders Sam Clark & Mark Ledwich took a year-long sabbatical to study the spread of misinformation tied to the election fraud narrative (transparency.tube) and that led to the creation of Seattle startup Pendulum @MadronaVL

Airlines got $25 billion in bailout money and cut 90,000 workers anyway. We are spending money to prop up companies that should just go directly to people and families.

Why, you ask? Well, despite the never-ending data showing that female founders outperform all-male teams, women still get only 2.8% of VC $ globally, and it's even worse in LatAm. techcrunch.com/2020/02/06/la…
