The Thanksgiving leftover turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce sandwich is something I look forward to as much as Thanksgiving dinner itself.

Alaska friends, do you know of any groups/organizations/individuals that are serving our neighbors experiencing homelessness? We have socks from Bombas that we want to get out & onto the feet of our neighbors who need them & I want to help support the work that others are doing.

I don’t know what’s going on in the universe right now, but in the last 3 months my wife & I have lost a grandmother, grandfather, 2 uncles, an aunt & a cousin. Have never experiences so much death in such a short period of time. Ready for this season to be over, that’s for sure

Our resort in Fiji came through BIG last night! Our original anniversary plans at another location were cancelled due to a storm. When our resort heard, they said they wanted to set up something special for us. They put this together in an hour. @doubletree Fiji for the win!

We made it to Fiji today. So far, the trip is going splendidly.

Sherri and I are about to leave state for a couple weeks, but as we go, our hearts are with our fellow Alaskans in western Alaska who are about to get hit by this monster. Stay safe, friends. Alaskans, take care of one another as we always do.

My idea of the week: An annual award called the Alaska King Crab that we give to the crabbiest and grouchiest person in the state, as voted by the people.

I’ve gotta tell you, I can’t say enough good things about the social team at the @AlaskaStateFair! For the 5 years we’ve partnered with them they have been nothing but amazing and supportive. We’re absolute fans of theirs and love that we got to come back again this year!
