It’s time to bring back up all the P2P libraries for clients to exchange data between themselves. Like old Spotify, Direct Connect and Bittorrent. Or every app implements iroh.computer ?
Conclusions : 1.

For a long time infrastructure cost was going down and cost of software up. SWEs were paid more than infra engineers. Now software is cheap and infra is expensive.

5 days, reached out through Support, Discord, GitHub and X - and still no @MistralAI answer on what appears to be a serious API bug impacting all models… how come 🤯
Any chance someone in my network or from @MistralAI directly can help with a pretty bad API behavior impacting literally all tested models (github.com/mistralai/client-…). This was my first experience plugging Mistral on @AltertableAI and I must confess it wasn’t smooth to finally realize this… how come is that not spotted by any kind of tests ?! Happy to help more, just tell me…

CDG is getting better and better. Today a random queue sorter decided to verify if my passport is matching my boarding pass, including all accents the system can’t write, and insisted the Czech Republic is not in the EU so no Parafe. @ParisAeroport

TIL @github enterprise support is unable to pass ticket to the commercial team or tell me who is our account manager, because they use different ticket systems. I need to fill “contact sales” form like I have never been a customer 🤦‍♂️ cc @Vlad_GitHub

With these extreme petrol prices in France the highway became very calm. Everyone going 130km/h in the right lane. No overtaking. Until Paris, then people have money 🤷‍♂️

Because of heavy air pollution Paris reduced speed to 70km/h for all cars. Why are EVs impacted? To not make fuel burning car owners feel bad? #paris #canicule

Aren’t remote-first companies better positioned to create “agentic company brain” thanks to their writing culture? Or are in-office companies relying on hallway talks, tacit knowledge and “presence” better positioned?

I’m still convinced move to self-driving won’t be driven by drivers but by insurance companies. One day you’ll need to pay extra to engage in the extreme activity of driving yourself.
Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) is currently ~9x safer than the average human driver Because of this massive safety advantage, auto insurance providers like Lemonade are now offering Tesla owners up to a 50% discount on their per-mile premiums when FSD is engaged Choosing Tesla FSD driving is not just safer, but it also directly saves you money

The lightest grey bar in the bar of 660k chart is mislabeled in the legend. It is not “Teslas Driven Manually (No Active Safety Features)”. This is the US Average according to original source in the legend on Tesla FSD Safety website. tesla.com/fsd/safety

Been saying this for years. Neural chips and GPUs in every pocket and MacBook. They’re currently sitting idle 99%+ of the time. Most tasks don’t need big models…
Replying to @jvisserlabs
7/ Baker identified Apple's strategy as the template: "Apple is going to be a distributor of AI, make it privacy safe, run on the phone, and then you can call the god models in the cloud whenever you have a question." The hyperscaler bear case is that most questions don't need the god models.

Store now, decrypt in 2029
This is wild. Google Research demonstrates a ~20x more efficient implementation of Shor's algorithm that could break ECDSA keys within minutes with ~500K physical qubits. Google is now are more confident on a 2029 post-quantum transition. We are no longer looking at mid 2030s, we could have quantum computers of this scale by the end of the decade. They believe this result is so severe that they are not publishing the actual circuits. They instead published a ZKP proving that they know of the quantum circuit with these properties. This is very atypical, showing Google thinks this is serious shit. All blockchains need a transition plan ASAP. Post-quantum is no longer a drill.

All workplace, IT and security teams disabling in travel systems layovers in HK? 🤔Is it even possible?
Hong Kong: On March 23, 2026, the Hong Kong government changed the implementing rules relating to the National Security Law. It is now a criminal offense to refuse to give the Hong Kong police the passwords or decryption assistance to access all personal electronic devices including cellphones and laptops. This legal change applies to everyone, including U.S. citizens, in Hong Kong, arriving or just transiting Hong Kong International Airport. In addition, the Hong Kong government also has more authority to take and keep any personal devices, as evidence, that they claim are linked to national security offenses.
