Today we celebrate the retirement of Sergeant Lee Page and honor an incredible 37 year career dedicated to serving others.
Sergeant Page began his career as a Community Service Officer in 1989. During that time he received various letters of commendation and appreciation. In 1993 he was sworn in as a Deputy Sheriff, officially beginning journey in Law Enforcement. He continued advancing in the agency serving in the Jail, Patrol, Detectives and the Courthouse. In 1999 Page became an FTO for the Patrol Division. In 2002 he received a Medal of Valor and was promoted to Detective the following year. In 2016 he was promoted to Sergeant, and eventually transferred to the Court Security Unit as a Sergeant where he has spent the last four years of his career.
Sergeant Page’s career has been about so much more than a badge or a title. It has been about the sacrifices made, the lives he has touched, the friendships formed and the countless moments of service that often go unseen.
Thank you for the years you have given and the example you have set.
Congratulations on your retirement! You leave with our deepest gratitude and respect. Wishing you happiness and many wonderful adventures, you deserve it!

Congratulations to our @FlatrockColo Regional Training Center staff!
The @adamscountygov Board of Commissioners has named the Flatrock team County Team of the Season, recognizing their hard work and dedication to training law enforcement recruits and officers across the state.
Each academy class brings in an average of 60 new recruits, and the Flatrock team prepares every one of them for a career in public service. They also work tirelessly to improve training for current deputies and officers, who must re-certify every year.

Did you know we help facilitate voting for the inmates in our jail?
Last week, we partnered with the Adams County Clerk and Recorder’s Office to provide inmates who are legally eligible to vote with the opportunity to cast their ballots.
Over two days, 79 inmates exercised their right to vote at our detention facility.
We are grateful for the work of our Detention Facility staff and our continued partnership with the Clerk and Recorder’s Office in helping ensure the voting process is safe, secure and accessible to those who are eligible.

We did it!
ACSO and @BrightonPolice hosted a Special Olympics Torch Run today, raising more than $3,500 for @SpecOlympicsCO Athletes. That money goes straight to helping local athletes train and
compete.
Huge thanks to everyone who ran, walked or donated, and to our volunteers who made it all run smoothly. We'd like to also thank @BrightonFire for helping lead the way, alongside the ACSO and Brighton Motorcycle Units, and Sheriff Gene Claps. See you next year.

Domestic violence doesn’t always look the way people expect. It can be a coworker, a neighbor, or a friend who’s stopped showing up the way they used to. One in three women in the United States will experience domestic violence in their lifetimes, and each year more than 15 million children witness violence in their own homes. It’s happening right here in our community.
Today, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office joined the @adamscountygov Board of Commissioners, @da17colorado, to recognize October as #DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth. Together, we honored survivors, remembered those we’ve lost, and thanked the advocates and first responders who show up when it matters most.
There’s also something hopeful in the works: the 17th Judicial District is building a Family Justice Center, a single place where survivors in Adams and Broomfield counties can get help without having to tell their story over and over in different offices.
Everyone deserves to feel safe at home and in their relationships. At #ACSO, we stand with survivors. Our Victim Services Unit is ready to connect anyone in need with safety, support, and local resources.
If someone you care about is struggling, the simplest thing you can do is listen and let them know they’re not alone. If you or someone you know is in danger or being abused, please reach out.

Adams County Sheriff's Office (Colorado) retweeted
News Release: Eighteen suspects responsible for organized and violent criminal activity throughout the state were recently arrested as part of a two-phase, multi-jurisdictional operation led by the Regional Anti-Violence Enforcement Network.
The 13-month investigation targeted 20 members of a local criminal organization responsible for more than 20 criminal episodes affecting 13 jurisdictions, including the cities of Aurora, Bennett, Commerce City, Denver, Frederick, Firestone, Greeley and Parker, as well as Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, Douglas and Weld counties.
Investigators obtained 67 search warrants and seized 31 firearms during the investigation. Arrest warrants were obtained for 18 suspects, including 14 adults and four minors, on a total of 185 criminal charges, including 166 felonies and 19 misdemeanors. All 18 suspects are in custody and charged in Denver District Court.
“This investigation demonstrates what can be accomplished when law enforcement agencies work together to hold violent offenders accountable and disrupt criminal networks operating across our communities,” said Deputy Chief Mark Hildebrand, who oversees the Aurora Police Department’s Investigations Division, which includes the RAVEN Task Force. “Over 13 months, this regional effort resulted in 18 arrests, 166 felony charges and the seizure of 31 firearms, addressing serious crimes that affected 13 jurisdictions across the Denver metro area and northern Colorado.
“These results reflect the commitment of our partner agencies to protecting our communities and ensuring those responsible for violent crime are held accountable for their actions and widespread victimization.”
The investigation was led by two task force officers from the Aurora Police Department and the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office. The suspects were arrested during two multi-jurisdictional operations on Sept. 15 and Oct. 7. The first take down operation targeted 12 suspects and all were taken into custody. The second take down operation targeted the remaining six suspects, five of whom were arrested that day. The final suspect was taken into custody days later.
The suspects were arrested in Aurora, Bennett, Commerce City, Denver, Greeley and Wichita, Kan. RAVEN agencies and other law enforcement partners that contributed resources or assisted with the operations include SWAT Teams from the Aurora, Commerce City, Brighton, Denver, Englewood, Greeley and the Littleton police departments, SWAT Teams from the Arapahoe County and Douglas County sheriff’s offices, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Response Team, the Denver District Attorney’s Office, Kansas Highway Patrol, ATF and the U.S. Marshals Service.
“RAVEN’s success demonstrates the strength of collaboration among law enforcement agencies and our shared commitment to keeping communities safe,” said Arapahoe County Sheriff Tyler S. Brown. “By combining investigative expertise, resources and coordinated efforts across jurisdictions, our partner agencies helped disrupt this alleged criminal network.
“This regional partnership sends a clear message that those charged with violent and organized criminal activity will be pursued across jurisdictional boundaries, while reinforcing our commitment to protecting residents and holding individuals accountable through the justice system.”
