We would like to honour the men and women of the First Nations Regional Dialogues and the National Constitutional Convention at Uluṟu. Thank you for your mighty contribution to the nation. Thank you for the Uluṟu Statement from the Heart. Our people were excluded from the drafting of the Constitution. We were excluded from the nation’s constitutional order until 1967. We remain subject to the “Race power”. You were asked by the Commonwealth, “What is meaningful recognition to you?” And your answer was Recognition thru a Voice. The Voice is intended to include communities in Australian democracy and decision-making. History will remember the courageous and patient men and women of the Uluṟu Dialogues. It’s their legacy we celebrate today. Megan and Pat. Xx

Today I urge all Australians to Vote Yes.
So then when we look ourselves in the mirror tomorrow, we see a proud and compassionate nation reflected back. – at Broome, Western Australia
Vote YES ❤️
Take the politics out of your vote or this gap between us will never be healed. And that would be to our shared and eternal detriment.
Vote YES.

♥️ The @UluruStatement is the culmination of 13 Regional Dialogues and an unprecedented National Constitutional Convention in Uluru in 2017.
👍 All that remains is to say #Yes to the Statement's invitation to all Australians to walk towards a better future.
