For years, they mocked Cardano for moving too slowly. They ridiculed Charles Hoskinson for insisting on rigorous research, formal methods, and security-first engineering.
But here's something the crypto industry desperately needs to understand:
Speed means nothing if everything you've built can be compromised overnight.
Every exploit, every compromised wallet, and every catastrophic security failure reminds us that innovation without discipline comes at a terrible price.
Cardano was never supposed to win a race to the finish line. It was built to endure.
And Midnight carries that philosophy forward, bringing privacy, selective disclosure, and security-conscious architecture into an increasingly dangerous digital world.
Neither is immune to vulnerabilities. No system is. But designing for security from the beginning is fundamentally different from treating it as an afterthought.
The future of blockchain won't belong simply to whoever builds the fastest. It will belong to those who earn and preserve trust.
That is why I believe in Cardano and Midnight.
The world doesn't need another blockchain that promises everything.
It needs infrastructure it can depend on.

CT spent years clowning Charles and Cardano for obsessing over formal verification.
Now look at all these crypto hacks and the latest Binance drama 💀
Makes you wonder how safe $NIGHT really is.
Turns out building Cardano and Midnight with security in mind from day one might actually matter.

Dear crypto community, I don't think people fully understand what Leios could mean for Cardano. 👀🦋🍄
While everyone is chasing hype and the next 10x memecoin, Cardano is building for institutional adoption, real-world finance, and mass adoption.
And here is why I'm so bullish: 👇
🚀 Leios dramatically increases Cardano's tx capacity (by processing in parallel).
📈 10–15x is the tx target.
🔐 Leios keeps Cardano's security foundation without sacrificing decentralization to chase speed (Unlike BNB and Solana).
🌐 Leios brings more capacity for DeFi, stablecoins, payments, trading, and the next generation of Cardano dApps.
In combination with Hydra, Mithril, Bitcoin DeFi, RealFi, and Midnight, Cardano is building infrastructure that can support millions of users.
Scaling without sacrificing decentralization and security matters.
The market will notice. Stay bullish. 🔥 – at Zurich, Switzerland

Cardano stablecoin market cap just crossed $70m. Tiny compared to other ecosystems, but it means something because this wasn't built on outside VC money or foundation subsidies.
It came from the Treasury and the ecosystem's own resources.
Last June I wrote that Cardano's stablecoin supply was far too small relative to its DeFi ecosystem.
It was $31.75m then. It's more than doubled since. 31% of that came in the last 30 days alone, with $USDCx now making up 63% of the total as the anchor, and @realfi_co $USDrf passing $5m within two weeks of launch.
Stablecoin supply now exceeds DeFi TVL. What matters more is that the conditions for growth are far better than they were. With USDCx integrated and the CIP-113 standard now merged, there's a path for regulated stablecoins to come to Cardano.
Cardano is slow, but it keeps changing.
I think that, to support the growth of #Cardano DeFi ecosystem, stablecoin liquidity needs to increase significantly.
1/
As shown below, when comparing the stablecoin market cap to DeFi TVL, Cardano lags far behind other chains. Cardano sits at just 10.7%, while Ethereum and L2 chains like Arbitrum all exceed 100%.

I'm voting No on the Cardano Strategic Copper Reserve proposal.
First, despite being framed as Cardano RWA, the canonical token is issued on Ethereum. The copper tokens are minted as ERC-20s on Ethereum and locked in escrow, and only a bridged representation circulates on Cardano.
There is no reason this couldn't be issued natively on Cardano, yet Treasury funds would pay for Ethereum issuance and bridge infrastructure, with the Treasury also bearing the bridge risk the proposer itself acknowledges.
And this is effectively the Treasury taking a bet on commodity prices. The proposal itself states that, if the full fee ceilings are used, copper would need to rise roughly 50% just to recover the principal, and it explicitly says the principal is not guaranteed. Attaching a repayment condition doesn't make this a risk the Treasury should carry.
RWA is an important direction for Cardano, but this proposal is not the right way to pursue it, so I'm voting No.

A lot of people have mocked Cardano as an ecosystem with nothing real behind it, almost like a religion. But now, one by one, people outside are starting to see what it's actually worth.
What makes it meaningful is who it's coming from. Not people who don't know this market, but people who understand the industry deeply.
It's the same in real life. Just looking around me, most people have zero interest in Cardano and think of it as some ghost chain that only mattered back in 2018.
I think the time to prove that wrong is coming. A lot is developing and changing across the Cardano ecosystem right now.
Most of all, the people here aren't airdrop or reward hunters. They're people who've believed in this ecosystem's value and stuck with it for years, holding their ground and building it up. That's something no ecosystem can easily have.
I'm glad to be part of this, and to contribute as Cardano moves toward the center of this market.
If you understand Bitcoin and what Cardano is building to connect with it, you’ll understand why it’s time to have a serious conversation about $ADA.
Bitcoin is more than a digital currency. It’s a payment network that operates without a central bank. Cardano is a separate blockchain built to support applications and financial services without relying on a central authority.
The compelling part is Cardano’s work on Bitcoin connectivity. The goal is to make Bitcoin-based funds and assets usable within Cardano applications without modifying Bitcoin’s core software.
Cardano’s architecture is built around eUTXO, a structured model for tracking how digital funds can be spent. It uses proof of stake, allowing participants to help secure the network by committing ADA. It also supports native assets and smart contracts, giving developers the tools to create tokens, applications, and financial products directly on-chain.
That creates a foundation for decentralized applications and DeFi: lending, trading, borrowing, and other financial services delivered through blockchain-based programs rather than traditional institutions.
Several developments deserve close attention: Cardano’s progress on Bitcoin connectivity, adoption of its applications, growth in DeFi and stablecoins, scaling initiatives such as Hydra, and governance upgrades that could give ADA holders a greater role in shaping the network.
None of this guarantees that ADA will rise. Market conditions still matter, including Bitcoin’s performance, regulatory developments, and whether users actually adopt what’s being built.
But that’s precisely the point.
Cardano is more than a speculative ticker. Its protocol, architecture, Bitcoin strategy, applications, and potential growth this bull cycle all warrant a serious discussion.
And while no outcome is guaranteed, I believe ADA could move far more aggressively than most people are prepared for.
Anyway, I’m going to train, but give this a read and also do your research on this entire topic.

Simply put, $BTC was the first to use UTXO, but $ADA pushed it furthest by extending it to smart contracts. $ETH, in my view, went with a simpler account-based model to ship smart contracts fast.
That choice for a quick launch and developer convenience is now coming back as massive technical debt. MEV and sandwich attacks, endlessly growing state, reentrancy and other contract security issues. A design choice from 10 years ago is finally sending the bill, and the fact that they’re now revisiting UTXO proves it.
Cardano saw these problems from day one and built EUTXO, combining the security of Bitcoin’s UTXO with the expressiveness of smart contracts.
And it’s not just EUTXO. Native tokens without smart contracts, mathematically verified proof-of-stake, nodes that run on modest hardware, an on-chain treasury and governance. Cardano already has a lot that’s ahead of the market standard.
As the market matures and people understand the tech better, Cardano will only look more attractive.
Replying to @Excellion
In 2014 before they had written any code, told them use UTXO, dont use balance based active code, stateful model. This year vitalik: maybe bitcoin was right we should migrate to utxo based. (Ofc no citations Adam was right, as with their PoW also what i told him how to do)

Since the deployment of Midnight mainnet smart contracts, network activity hasn't just grown-it has absolutely EXPLODED! 🚀
Let the numbers speak for themselves over the past 7 days:
📉 Oct 1st: A quiet 284 Txs.
📈 Oct 8th: A staggering 26,178 Txs.
🤯 That is a 91x increase (9,117%+) in just ONE WEEK!
